Shivers

Not so good day

    Kira smirked as Cheryl shook in fear.

Kira kicked her in the stomach "This is what you get for being ugly"

Her friend Sarah punched her "This is for coming to this school"

Her other friend May took a photo of her crying and posted it on Snapchat and Instagram

All Cheryl could do is sit there so powerless and discouraged... with a bloody nose and stomach pain.

"And if you tell ANYONE what happened today" Kira said in a cold voice, "we will kill you"

They left for lunch and left Cheryl alone in the bathroom crying her eyes out and saying,

"I lied to myself.... today is not a good day" she sobbed "dad lied..." she took out the gemstone from her hand and threw it at the mirror leaving a crack in it.

                   After school

That day Cheryl got off the bus muttering to herself and trying to hide her bruised nose also cursing the day she ever moved to Kansas and left her life behind for this.

"Cheryl honey, how was school?" Asked her mom
"It was good.." Cheryl said emotionless "I'm gonna go do homework"
"On the first day? That's odd" her mom said with curiosity
"Uh yeah, it's weird" Cheryl lied
"Would you like a snack?"
"No mom" then she quickly ran upstairs trying to hold tears for a little bit longer.
    

And then she bursted into tears, crying herself a river.. just waiting to get out of this mess.

She woke up the next day and got on the bus shivering....
At class she avoided eye contact with any of those mean girls and got out of the class when she could.
Most of the time while switching classes she would get a shove to the ground and everyone would laugh considering she was on social media and everyone thought of her as the cry baby. Though she stood strong, trying to keep her self respect but most of it has flooded out of her body.
