The cute little kohai (part-1)

Ayano's pov
I walked in the empty classroom and saw Osano tapping his foot impatiently. I walked to him and when he saw me his face turned a little shade of red. I wonder why.

"Why are you so late you dummy!?"
He said in a furious way.
"Sorry Osano. I bumped into someone that's why I am a late."
I apologized to him but seriously, I was feeling a little apologetic since I kept him waiting.

"Oh, it's okay you Baka! Just don't get late next time!"
"Okay, okay I will. So what did you want to talk about?"
When he heard my question he looked into my eyes and started talking in a stuttering way.

"I-I have to give you this!" He handed me a Bento very fastly. Wait, a bento? For me? I never received it from anyone before. I thought and I felt a little glad as a small smile crept on my face.

"You made it for me? I am very glad. Thank you Osano kun." I said that with gladness in my voice. I never felt this feeling before but it felt great as if the hole in my heart is filling up with warmth and kindness.

"H-hey! I just had some leftovers left. J-just shut up and eat your bento!"
I chuckled lightly. Wait, I laughed?
I felt very good after feeling these emotions.

I looked up at Osano who was in daze and he was looking at me very warmly. He was Blushing a deep red. Does he have a fever?

"Osano, do you have a fever?" I tried to touch his head with my hand but he backed away.

"N-No, you Baka! Let's just go to rooftop and eat our bento!"
He walked very fastly after saying that. I wonder why.

Osano's pov

I was waiting for ayano to be here so that I can give her the bento I made for her. I woke up very early in the morning to make it for her. I hope she likes it.

"She's late.." I muttered to myself as I started tapping my foot impatiently. Then, I heard some footsteps. I thought it's just some other student and ignored it but then all of a sudden ayano walked in and I started blushing.

What was I gonna say to her? Suddenly I felt nervous.
"Why are you late dummy!?" I asked her in a furious way as I waited for her reply.

"Sorry osano. I bumped into someone that's why I am late."
Well, that was reasonable so I felt relieved that nothing happened to her. She left me quite worried here but i am too nervous to admit it.

"Oh, it's okay Baka! Just don't be late next time!" I said that in a relieved way.

"Okay, okay. I will. So what did you want to talk about? "
I felt nervous once again as I started stuttering once more.
"I-I have to give you this!"
I hurriedly handed her the bento I made for her.

I looked at her expectedly to see what she wants to say but all of a sudden I saw her smiling. It was the most beautiful smile I have ever seen. I felt myself staring at her. It was weird but I can't look away from the beauty I was seeing right now. I was entranced by it.

"You made it for me..? I am very glad."
She says while smiling.
"Just shut up and eat your bento!"
As I said that, she started chuckling. I have never seen her chuckling like this for years. I just looked at her as my face turned red.

"Osano, do you have a fever?"
She said as she stretched her hand to touch my forehead to check if I have fever or not. I quickly backed away.
"N-No! You baka! Let's just go at the rooftop and eat our bento!"
I walked as fast as I can with my face red to the rooftop.

Author's pov

Ayano and Osano walked to the rooftop and quietly sat on the bench nearby. As ayano was about to open her bento her eyes landed on the person not too far away from her bench in front of her.

Her eyes widened as she saw non other than taro yamada with a small guy with a pink little heart hair clip next to him. She started getting nervous and she suddenly felt the hatred for taro who rejected her like she was a piece of trash to him.

She looked away as she started eating her lunch. But she felt those two guys in front of him whispering to each other about something and she  felt a gaze on her which made her uncomfortable a little bit.

When she looked up once again. The guy next to taro and taro himself was waving at her. Taro was smiling nervously and the little guy was smiling brightly while waving at her.
