We arrived at our new house in Tennessee about two hours ago and it's really nice. We all have our own rooms and bathrooms. I don't know how my dad was able to afford this but I'm thankful. "Miranda, we need to go admit you into the school so let's go."my dad said. "Yay!"she clapped following him out the door. "I wonder if the neighbors have a hot daughter who is going to college."Marcus said. "We can go meet them if you want."I shrugged. "Really?"he asked suprised. "I thought you weren't good with meeting people." "I'm not but I feel like laughing at your sorry attempt to flirt. Let's go."I laughed as we walked out the door and walked to the house on the left.
Marcus knocked on the door and pretty brunette girl, about his age, answered the door. "Hi."she smiled but mostly at him. "Hey."she smiled back. "I'm Marcus and this is my little sister, Melanie. We just moved in next door and thought it'd be a good idea to come make some friends, I guess."he explained. "Well, nice to meet you, Marcus and Melanie. I'm Gabrielle but you're welcome to call me Gabi. You can come in."she said opening the door so we could come in. "Who was at the door?"a girl with glasses asked, walking down the stairs. She had the same color hair as Gabi and she looked about my age. "This is Marcus and Melanie. They just moved in next door." "Oh. Hi. I'm Abigail."she smiled. I waved at her and so did Marcus. "William!"Gabi yelled and an extremely sexy guy came running down the steps. "What?"he asked. "We have new neighbors." William looked me up and down and I blushed. Then he smiled at me and came closer. "What's your name?"he asked.
"Melanie."I smiled shaking his hand. "Pretty name for a pretty girl." "Oh my God, Will! You are pathetic."Abigail scoffed rolling her eyes. "This is her brother, Marcus."Gabi said mentioning towards him. I looked up at him and he didn't look very pleased. "Hey."he said through gritted teeth. "Hi....sorry."William said looking down. "Mom, can you come here?"Abigail asked. "Yes, sweetie?"a middle-aged woman asked coming out of the kitchen I think. "Oh, who are they?"she asked walking over to the group we had going on. "They're our new neighbors, Melanie and Marcus."William said. "Oh. Hello, Melanie and Marcus. Where are your parents?" "We only live with our dad."I said but regretted it. "Where is your mom?"William asked. "William Oscar McCaren, you don't just ask someone that! Apologize right now." "I'm sorry. I didn't mean anything by it, I was just curious." "It's cool. She's in Florida."Marcus said.
"Well, would you like to join us for dinner?"she asked. "You can go home and freshen up and tell your dad and all that jazz."she added. "We would love to. Thank you. Come on, Melanie."Marcus smiled pulling me towards the front door. Once we walked outside, I looked at him like he was crazy. "What is wrong with you?"I asked. "What are you talking about?"he laughed. "Do you really think dad will let us eat with them? And why do want to eat with them anyway?" "Well it's worth a try and so I can get to know Gabi. She's nice and hot and sweet and hot and pretty. Did I mention that she was hot?" "Yeah. I think you did a couple of times."
