Is it okay to love you?

James

From across the collage camp a new face appears from within the building and comes running over towards a small group of friends  all bunched up in the shade of an overhanging tree. He was an average size,a skinny build, short shaved ginger hair with a pair of ocean eyes that shined a deep blue. He called himself James and he was 16.

"Hiya! My names James I thought that I'd come and join you lot as you seemed like nice people." He spoke in an excited tone. Jackson glanced over to him and dropped his eyes and let a small smile peek from the sides of his mouth "Its nice to see you so eager to make friends most newbies take a while to warm up to the place before trying to make friends with anyone." Besides him was a short girl dressed in overalls with curly brown hair and round glasses. She leaned over Jackson and greeted the new
"I love your hair! My names Jane by the way I'm a friend of Jackson."

James smiled back at her and sat down under the tree between the two. Jackson shuffled towards him

"hey James how's it been so far at this place? Is it going good for you?" He let out a deep sigh "I guess it's okay..can't really say if it's my favourite place to be in just yet haha"

he laughed a quiet nervous laugh that Jackson caught a hold of as soon as it escaped his mouth
"It's gonna be alright here I promise! Everyone is so nice and chill about everything they is absolutely no need to worry at all! I'll always help you if your in doubt."

He gave a smile of reassurance for his new friend a glimmer of hope in his eyes at that given

"It is only my second day being here after all so I won't judge it to badly maybe it will turn out nicely after all.."

still having a slight stammer when speaking he looked back at Jackson and let out a shy smile of appreciation. Jackson watched him as he turned to look at his surrounds around him. Jackson couldn't help but feel attached within just an hour of meeting him he wanted to be close to him more than just a best friend way.  In a trust and maybe even relationship way if it came to it. James looked briefly back at his newly made friend before opening his mouth to speak
"well I gotta get going now! It's been really nice to meet you both though. I'll maybe come back tomorrow."

Jackson waved
"see yah lemur!"
He jokingly shouted before watching him walk back inside the collage building. He dropped his head against the tree and let out a big sigh of relief.
"Maybe this is a start to something great." He spoke quietly. Jane looked back round at him confused
"What sorta great thing would that be Jackson?" Letting out a laugh he looked at her "you wouldn't understand it but you sure as well would except it!"
