(Y/n) POV
It's been about one year since raven took me in and started training me, she's been teaching me how to fight an opponent in different ways, and techniques to use in battle. She's also told me about my silver eyes and what power they hold, and because of this many would be after me, which is why she'd take time off from her work to train me as best she could, just to insure that when I'm on my own, I can best defend myself. One tiring part of the training would be when we would try to activate my silver eyes, so I could practice with the power they had and incorporate it into the moves I've learned, but when I did I would usually always pass out, raven told me to keep doing it when I could so I can get used to it. Right now I was on my way to the tent raven was currently in ,she had asked me to go see her, because she had something important to tell me as I entered the tent I could see raven looking over some papers.
Raven: "ah, (y/n) you're here."
(Y/n): "yeah, I came like you had asked me to, so what was it you wanted to speak with me about?"
Raven: "well, since you been here you have proven to be quite the learner, I'm impressed how fast you were able to learn the techniques I've taught you."
(Y/n): "well I try to be as fast of a learner as I can, but I still haven't learned anything about my silver eyes, I've tried focusing like you've said, but...I just can't do it." I looked down disappointed in my myself and thinking how raven would probably say I wasn't trying hard enough, but I felt a hand pick my head up, I found myself starring into ravens crimson red eyes, with a small smile on her face.
Raven: "hey, it's all right you've been trying your hardest, I've even heard from some of the others that you would finish up your tasks early just so you could go practice, it's not your fault it'll take time , but I'm sure you'll figure it out soon." I let smile sneak it way onto my face.
(Y/n): "Thanks raven, but is that all you called me in here for?"
Raven: "Oh right, no I called you in to discuss somethings with you."
(Y/n): "What kind of things?"
Raven: "Well as I was stating before, you've grown quite strong, and I believe that you're ready." My eyes widened and filled up with excitement.
(Y/n): "Does that mean?"
Raven: "Yes I think you're ready to join us on a mission." I couldn't contain my excitement much longer I was jumping up and down, and then embraced raven in a big hug which made her chuckle.
(Y/n): "Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!"
Raven "but remember it's still dangerous, I expect to stay close and don't hesitate." I calmed my self down and put in a confident smile.
(Y/n): "I wont let you down!" Raven just smiled and then went over to the back, and came back holding something behind her back.
Raven: " I know you won't (y/n), you never do,but I don't want you take that old sword with you." my shoulders then sank down.
(Y/n): " B-but I don't have another weapon and I don't particularly have money to get one either." Raven simple smiled and nodded.
Raven: "I know, which's why I want you to take this." Raven then brought out the item from behind her back, I held out my hands as she passed it to me. Unwrapping it I found myself starring at the weapon in amazement.
