The following day, for the most part, was uneventful. While Sonic and Shadow headed to the hot springs not to far from the pack, the others went on with their usual.

  A few minutes later Sonic, and Shadow made it to the hot springs. Sadly before he got in with Shadow, Sonic was tackled to the ground by his brother, Scourge.

Scourge!?

You are not getting away again, your refusal punishment happens whether you like it or not!

  Shadow had turned when he realised Sonic hadn't followed, only to gasp when he saw the green alpha. No longer in the mood, the ebony alpha charged Scourge and tackled him off of the young herm.

What the.. Oh, it's you. So stripes, I see you've taken in this little mistake.

He's no mistake, and you better leave Sonic alone!

Or what? He's my brother, and I'll treat him the way I want! So I suggest you stay out of my way.

  It only took Scourge a second after that declaration, for him to lunge at Sonic, only to be knocked to the ground by a very angry beta. Looking around he noticed Fleetway was the one to attack Scourge.

Leave, or the pack will tear you and your followers to shreds.

  Noticing they were out numbered Scourge retreated, Shadow, the young royal uke, and the few of their pack that showed up, headed back to the den.
