What's that one word? To describe the way you feel when you see someone that you just can't keep your eyes off of?
Hi. I'm Alice. And I'm going to be sharing a story about a guy I met once upon a time.
***
Times when Alice was by herself were the best. The days where she'd get to sit at favorite spot in town and just look at the rainy weather. If it's rainy. Where she would curl up into a tight space like she saw in an aesthetically pleasing tumblr post. The days where she just felt so done but so relaxed. Today was one of those days. And it was just about to get better."Hello. Do you need any help finding anyth-" Alice stopped mid-sentence too look at the person before her weary eyes. She looked him up and down before she could come back to reality.
He chuckled. "Uh, no, I'm doing quite fine but," he paused to put his finger to his chin, "I just don't know where to get a good book around here. I mean, I've read most of the books here and they all are great, don't get me wrong," he placed his elbows on the table and fisted his hand under his chin.
"You are very beautiful," he said, "what's your name sweetheart?" His tone of voice made shivers run through Alice's body. The way he smiled; it was quite charming and made his eyes crinkle up at the corners. You would've never believed he was anything under perfect.
"M-m-my name?" She stuttered to get the words out. Her voice couldn't seem to come up from her throat.
Alice hadn't had a boyfriend in over two years. Let alone flirted with anyone. Her ex, Jason, was a great guy until he cheated on her after a year and a half of dating. Alice had loved him so much. And quite frankly, she was not over him.
"My name's Alice. Uh and thank you?" She didn't know how to react to such compliments from a man.
"Okay. I'm Arthur. And what's a favorite book that you would recommend? I would really love to go and get ice cream with you." The way he talked in a husky but gentle voice made Alice wonder why she hadn't found him sooner.
"There is a really great book that I've been reading. It's called Harry Potter." She smiled goofily. She didn't normally share her obsession with Harry Potter to anyone. It hadn't been the first time she'd read the series.
"Seriously? You nerd!" He laughed and shoved her playfully.
"What? What's wrong with those books?" She knew this would happen. Of course. No boy would want to read Harry Potter.Ok so I'm doing a part one and 2 because I just wanted to publish it already! So I hope you like it and please give me suggestions!
