A letter to the man with the skeletons in his closet.

Do not fall under the pretense that your mistakes went unseen. You forget that you weren't actually alone.

See, the cat found the shadows you hid in the corner.

The dog fetched the guilt you buried.

The fish swallowed your sorrow when you tried to drown it in drink.

The mice nibbled through your wooden chest and got trapped in your spider-webbed heart.

The hamster tried to out run your monsters, but never made any progress.

 So don't pretend it's okay.
