hope you like this one. i wrote it about one of my bestfrineds!
Like a superhero:
You pulled me from the dark
A hand reaching out to me
To save me from my fall
Like a superhero you flew to me
You held my head above water.
My eyes started to open
To see the world around me
So bright so amazing so happy
The laughter the smiles
That I never new existed.
I opened my arms taking everything in
I laughed, I smiled and it felt so right.
You held me in my arms
I felt so safe so fearless.
The sand between my toes,
Like little pricks of a pin,
The sun so bright it blinds my vision
The rain so cold so wet
that my whole body was morphed in shivers.
I never knew there was such a feeling,
I’m not sure how to describe it
Free, Happy, Wild.
But I’m craving it more and more.
You’re my savior
