KLANK KLANK"Hey, Kuni? Could you get me some red wine?"
Coming through the door, at a really bad time I may add, was a tall, handsome man in a plain white dress shirt. His dark hair nicely swept to the side, his facial features weren't half bad either.
Now realizing the air and tension in the room, that carefree smile of his dropped, "Hey, is something wrong?"
Then his eyes landed on me, walking towards we're I am, "And why haven't I had the pleasure of meeting a beautiful woman like yourself?"
Playboy, that's all my mind could register him as. However, with him here, the tension got a bit lighter.
"Oi, Saeki. I got your wine right here, so stop bothering my niece!"
Realizing that we're family, I could see that his stance drooped, "May I atleast ask for the maiden's name?" raising one eyebrow suggestively, I had to admit that he was very attractive. Sexy even.
"Hanako Okumura," lifting my hand for a handshake, "Pleasure to make your acquantance
"No it is my pleasure to meet someone as beautiful as you", grabbing my hand he placed a kiss on it.
To say I was shocked was an understatement. I mean I don't even know the man.
Before I could say anything, he started to introduce himself.
"Saeki Takamasa, I'd give you my card but sadly I have ran out. Shall I put my number on your phone then?"
"AHEM."
Uncle was staring at Saeki with a red passion, almost as red as the wine he was about to throw. "Would you stop flirting with my niece so we could all get a grip on what happened."
"That wasn't flirting."
Okay ouch.
"Asking a beautiful girl what her name is isn't flirting, it's being a gentleman. And with what I can hear Yuta explaining to Takao, our precious baby Yamato doesn't know how to be one."
Everyone was really quiet after that remark. Yuta and Uncle looked really uncomfortable, and Yamato was red. Obviously embarrassed by what Saeki said.
Takao stood up, "Ah, well let's try to understand what's going on. Instead of saying unnecessary things to each other-"
"I didn't know you were Kunihiko's niece."
Yamato got up from the far side of the bar and sat next to me, not making eye contact, "Lately at my work, students are trying to break into other teachers cars. For cigarettes, makeup, money, anything that's on a teenagers mind. You looked young to me when I saw you, and it's Saturday so kids do wear their uniforms then," here he got a bit flustered, "Agh, anyways I'm sorry. I should have never scared you like that."
I looked at him, seeing that his brown eyes were already staring at me. He seemed sincere. I mean, his work aside, he seemed to worry about Uncle's car being robbed and just wanted to help.
Putting my hand on his shoulder, I smiled. He's a nice guy, "It's okay-"
"Though if you were a thief, I wouldn't be sorry at all."
What.
"Ah, Yamato. You had to mess that up."
"Even I thought you were sincere!"
"Precious Yamato, being himself."
"You should really apologize for that awful apology."
What a rude comment! God, did I think he was nice? I look at him while the others talk, he turns my way and smirks.
Yamato Kougami, a name I wish I didn't know. Hopefully when I'm here, he's not. I hope I don't see him anymore and deal with that attitude anytime soon.
