Recap: manik's introduction manik's pov manan's and aaliya's meet

They all were standing in a dead silence one side aaliya had tears after seeing her best friend after long 5 years and on other side manik and nandini were just looking at each other with unknown emotions one can't understand looking at them that whether there was hatred or love or anger but yes they both were in pain they wanted to run and hug each other but they can't.
Soon their tranced was broken by aaliya when aaliya hug nandini tightly.
Aaliya (crying): kaha thi tum nandini tumhe pta bhi h maine tumhe kitna miss kia
Nandini dont know what to say as she just disappeared suddenly without telling anyone after that incident. She felt guilty that she was not there with them but she can't face manik after that incident she was not that strong so she decided to run away from there.
Nandini: umm hey aaliya kaisi ho tum aur tum yaha
Aaliya (angrily): seriously nandini tum mujhse puch rhi ho kaisi hu main maine tumse kuch pucha kaha thi tum itne saal bina bataye kaha chali gayi thi
Nandini (lowering her head): actually main London chali gai thi studies ke lie after that
Aaliya understand her and hugged her tight and whispered in her ear i missed you
In all this one person was just standing there still without moving and his eyes was stuck towards just one person nandini yes that person was non other than manik.
Manik's pov
She she she was infront of me shhhee was there I cant believe I m seeing her after long 5 years. She hadn't changed a bit but there was something missing in her. She was not that Nandini which I saw before 5 years. There was no shine in her eyes which was use to be there. Her smile for which I fall on the very first sight was missing. But manik get a grip on yourself she didn't trusted you she didn't let you explain she just left you like that I cant forgive her ever I cant so I decided to leave from there leaving aaliya with her. When I was going outside I saw the name plate on her cabin's door which was Dr. Nandini Murthy gynecologist. Oh finally she achieved her dream I still remember when we were in first year of our college she told that
Flashback
Manik and nandini were sitting on the staircase which was their favourite place as there was not many people coming there. They both were sitting in each others arms and manik's head was on nandu's shoulder.

Manik: jaan you'll be one of the best gynecologist I know

Manik: bas I know and you'll prove yourself aur jo sabki expectations hai na tumse wo unka bharosa hai ki tum kar sakti ho nd why are you considering that expectations as your weaknesses you should consider them as your strength and then see no one can stop you to achieve your dreams
Nandini: you always know na how to make my mood better
Manik (raising his imaginary collar): koi shak
Then manik leans towards nandu

While in the cabin
Aaliya broke the hug and Nandini aksed her
Nandini: waise tum yaha kya kr rhi ho
Aaliya: actually main checkup ke liye aai thi
Nandini: check-up don't tell me r u pregnant
Aaliya (blushed): yess but what are you doing here
Nandini: well this is Dr. Nandini Murthy gynecologist
Aaliya: omg nandu matlab tum ho mri gynecologist
Nandini: yess actually Dr gupta ko kuch kaam tha so
Aaliya: omg omg
She started jumping when nandini said
Nandini: aree aree aaram se aaram se nd really congratulations for this
She congratulate her with a genuine smile. This was the first time after that incident that she smiled genuinely.
Nandini: waise who's the lucky guy ha
Aaliya: or kaun dhruv
Listening dhruv's name she remembers manik but shrugged her thoughts for now as for now her best friend was more important than anything.
Nandini: ohh how can i forget but still yr congratulations
Aaliya: mra chod tu bta tujhe koi mila ya nahi
Listening this tears welled up in nandini's eyes and aaliya realise what she said and hugged her tightly
Aaliya ( breaking the hug): I m sorry
Nandini: hey dont be so let's start your check up then we'll had to catch-up a lot
Aaliya: ya lets go
With this they both went for aaliya's checkup
