Chapter One - The Dungeon
It's cold. No not cold. It's freezing. My nose feels as though it has icicles growing out the bottom of it. Where am I that's so cold? The Dungeon. The cold dripping dungeon with rats and bats and who knows what else? I know what else. I've been here long enough. I should know. Who am I? I don't know. I know my name. My name is Night. Nightmare Rivermoon is the whole name. Where am I from? Ohio. What year was I born? 1999. What year is it now? I'm not sure. I didn't count.
For some reason I feel safer in here. I don't know why. My now long blond hair is a dirty tangled mess. At least I think my hairs blond and that it's just covered in mud. My forehead bares a long scar wrapped in a dirty bandage. My hand reveals a scar to. But it's not bandaged. My clothes. I'm supposed to be wearing a dress, but it's so torn and worn you couldn't tell. I can barley tell.So while I sit here I just look at all the skeletons and singing songs, hoping someday to get out of here. At the same time I feel that if I leave. It will be a grave mistake.
"Nightmare!" Said a cold voice from out side the cell. A voice I was familar with.
"GO AWAY!" I yelled back. I knew they were here to torture me. I knew they were here to destroy my life. It had already been destroyed actually so I guess it didn't really matter. The things they did to me though. That's what kept me fighting.
"Oh trying to be strong this time? Oh you tried to be strong last time didn't you? and the last time, and the time before that and the time before that." You could tell he or she or IT was enjoying my fear. It sounded almost like a lizard and smelled like a skunk.
"GO AWAY!" I yelled louder putting my hands up to my face and clenching my fingers around my hair.
"Now. Why would I do that dear Nightmare?" it said in a mocking tone.
" I have so much power over you. Why would I trade it in?" it laughed at its own words and my tears.
"Get the hell AWAY!" As I yelled this my crystal blue eyes started to turn brighter. They then glowed bright blue like glow sticks.
"Wha-whats going on?!" It sounded more scared. Its strong voice shrunk away to a small one. The whole dungeon lit up and I guess that began my adventure.

"I'm free!" I yelled as I skipped in a circle. The soft warm breeze made me stop and stare at the leaves that were dancing around in circles. I can't remember how I got out of the dungeon, but it doesn't matter to me.When I woke up I was just laying in a pile of shattered bricks, the Sun's light warm against my face. Sunlight. Oh, how I had missed it! Now here it is, shinning in my eyes. A bit unpleasant but, eh, you win some you lose some!
Smiling, I looked at all the trees, plants, and flowers. Something seemed different about them. But who knows I was in there long enough for it to be just my imagination. But I happened to be right and just not know. At that time I didn't know allot of things that where coming for me in the future. That there was a very serious reason I had been held there.
I kneeled down to smell a cute pink flower that was growning next to near by tree. Suddenly, I heard a noise coming from a nearby bush. I quickly turned around and faced the bush.
"Who is there?" I yelled." I warn you I will find you and when I do-"
"Hey." I was cut off by a voice that sounded like a boy's, a teenage boy's, that came from behind me. I jumped, a bit frightened. I turned around to face the place where the voice was coming from. When I did turn around, I found the voice had come from a teenage boy that looked about 20, my age... I think that's my age anyways...He had medium length black hair and bright blue eyes.I must admit I'm a sucker for blue eyes... Especially his. He was very cute , I must admit, and soon he would be my best friend. My only friend.
