Chapter 2

Astrid pov:

The sun shined in my eyes from the window, i let out a soft growl and sat up from the comfy bed. My plans today shall be go to the library and find some damn food, I get off the bed and put on my black cloak, I grab my keys and leave my room and lock it.

I head out of the inn and started to walk around the streets, i still dont know what town or city im in, ill found out soon hopefully, i kept walking around, seeing people on the streets as well, I kept walking around, but i still couldn't find the library,  i guess ill need to ask, I walked around and saw a girl with light blue short hair, she was pretty short too, but she was reading a book, so maybe she will know, i went up to her and tapped on her on the shoulder "excuse me, uh do you know where the library is? Im new and I cant seem to find it" she frowned and replied to me "well their was a libary but the guild fairy tail acendently destroyed it while fighting  a dark guild, but i can help with anything you need to know, ive read all the books in the library until they got all burnt down" I smiled even though she couldnt see it cause of the cloak covering my face "that would help a lot actually, I want to learn about dragon slayers, you see uh i read a book a long time ago about a girl who was a dragon slayer, but she looked like one, she had dragon wings and scales all over her body, I was wondering if you would know anything about it?" She nodded "thats called dragon force some of my friends are dragon slayers, the dragon force is when a dragon slayer enters Dragon Force, they effectively turn into a humanoid dragon, gaining reptilian scales and traits, such as further elongated, and sharper, canines and scale-like patterns on their skin. granting them power comparable to that which a real Dragon possesses: the power to utterly destroy everything, but it doesnt last forever, cause it take so much magic power" I nodded "okay, but here is the thing, the girl in the story, she had them all the time, like, like she was infected, you could say, she didnt use the dragon force to look like one, she just woke up one day and that how she was, is that normal?" The girl had a cunfused look on her face and started to speak "I never did saw or heard anything like that, that girl either has lost of magical power to keep it going and she doesnt know or shes a completely different type of dragon slayer" I sighed, I still need more answers, "thanks that was helpfull but i still need more answers, by any chance do you know any more things about them, it will truly help" she shook her head no "i know a lot but not enough, but my four dragon slayer friends can help, well atleast one, i kinda find the other three to hard to talk too, her name is Wendy, shes a dragon slayer, but sadly shes on a mission with her friends, shes in the fairy tail guild as well as me, and the other three dragon slayers are too" I nodded, and started to speak "well do you know when she will be back, cause i truly wanna know more" she shakes her head no again " I really dont know when she will come back, but hey I haft to say something, your magic power, its really high, what type of magic user are you?"

Should I tell her? I dont know if I should. As I was thinking to tell her or not, I hear a distance scream, I whip my head around, "did you hear that? I heard a scream" the blue hair girl nods and start to run towards the sound, I follow her.

As we get closer the scream is louder, then we make it to the source, it was the old lady from the inn, she was being zapped by blue lightning? I then hear the blue headed girl scream, she started getting zapped as well, I look around and see a guy, he had long grey hair, a very strong jawline, pretty tall, I would say about 6 feet, the clothes he had on was a black tank top and blue jeans, he was also very tan, almost looked faked, then i looked at his hands, he had blue lightening coming out. Well I guess I need to stop him "Hey you, yah you with the long grey hair! You better stop with your blue stupid lightning or else thier will be trouble bud!" He laughed and responded "oh and what will you do shorty? Slap me, im so scared, join them and feel the rath of the dark guild, dark power!" Oh hell no, Im not short! Im atleast 5'5, how dare he says that! As he was about to hit me with his blue lighting, I dodge it and ran towards him "galaxy dragons iron fist!" I hit him right in the stomach and he goes flying out of town, to much? Nah

I turn my head back to the old lady and the blue headed girl, the old lady was fine, didnt get zapped that bad but the blue headed girl was unconscious, I run towards her and check if she was fully okay, tons of scratches but they arnt bad, the old lady comes over, "she will be alright,  if you go straight and pass the inn and then make a right and then left, you will reach the guild, fairy tail, they can help her,  also thank you for the help, cause of this, you are free to stay as many nights in the inn for free, now hurry up, dont worry about me" I nod and thank the old lady, I pick the blue headed girl up and start running  towards the guild, i never heard of a guild before, wonder if its nice?

After awhile, I was infront of a big building with some type of mark on it, their was a sign by it, saying "FairyTail guild", I kick the doors open and see tons of people stairing at me, well this is awkward for me I clear my throut and start speaking well more like yelling "stop stairing! One of your guild mates is in trouble and needs help!" Some people take her but i am suddenly pulled by a small hand by my hand, I look down and see a very small old guy, I let him take me to where ever, after a couple minutes, we end up in a room that looks like a office, he motions me to sit and i do, he sits infront of me with a desk in between us, why am i here? Also im very hungry, the old guy looks at me and then begins speaking "so tell me the story please, how one of my children ended up hurt, I nodded and started to tell him my story, how i met levy and asked her a couple questions and then the scream, the blue lightning and how the guy was blubbering about being in a dark guild and how I defeated him, the old guy keeps nodding " well thank you for saving levy, you know child, I feel lots of magic power coming off you, please do tell me how you defeated this magic mage" I look down, might as well say it"Im a dragon slayer, a galaxy dragon slayer, I used my galaxy dragon iron first to make him fly somewhere far" the old man smiles, " well im mokarov, the master of fairy tail and I want you to join my guild, I see lots of future things you could help us with, will you?"

Really? I dont even know the first thing about being in a guild, "im sorry but i never been in a guild before and know nothing about guilds or even being in one" he smiles wider "well child, our guild, is like a familey, we never give up on eachother, we are their for eachother no matter what,  in a guild you help people and get rewards, like jewels or other treasures" i nod and start to think, i do need the money, i really do, I smile and reply "you know what, ill love to join, my name is Astrid by the way" he gets up and dances, what a weird old man, he yells loadly, "mirajane, get the stamp now!" I see a girl with white long hair come in with a stamp of the fairy tail mark, she comes up to me and asks me in a nice voice where i want it, i smile and stick my leg out "side of my thigh please" she presses the stamp on my thigh, it was very cold, she leaves it on for a few seconds and takes it off, i look and see it was black with a white outline, so cool!

I thank the girl mirajane and she leaves, the master takes my hand and leads me back to the main room, he gets on top of the counter and starts to tell "everyone i want you to say hello to Asrid, shes a new member of fairy tail, everyone welcome her", everyone goes crazy and a party begins, i start to make friends easly, the girl levy was awake and we become friends as well, she starts thanking me and how much the rest of the dragon slayers are missing this, I smile, for some reason i feel super happy, no one has question me about my cloak yet, I wonder why?

As the night goes on, with me filling my face with food and making many friends,  I start getting sleepy, I leave the guild with goodbyes and head to the inn, i say hi to the old lady and head to my room, and thier i fall asleep peacefully.
