Scariest Monster IS You!

You are the new night guard watching the security cameras in chuck e cheese style restaurant called Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Four animatronics roam the hall at night because the owners don't want their servos to lock up. Bad news is you cant let them near you or else they will kill you on the spot because you look like a naked endoskeleton. Apparently one of them bit someone in 87 presumably 1987. The past guard leaves a recorded phone message to be your tutorial before he got himself killed by an animatronic.

 That's it survive five nights with those possessed animatronics and get your paycheck. Well done your have completed the game now  go play plants vs zombies. But playing it that way is a HUGE  disservice to the game because that doesn't even touch the surface.  If you have a keen eye you would start to find certain clues  and easter eggs unravelling the true dark story. Leading you to find the fifth animatronic "GOLDEN FREDDY" , seeing the posters changing every now and then also finding news clippings to reveal the dark story behind FNAF.

Putting this all together, here is the rest of the story:

Freddy Fazbear Pizza once was a big hit but falls into a dark hole after 5 children went missing. They were lured into the "back room" by a creepy man dressed up in one of the Freddy Fazbear suits. Although the guilty man was found but the innocent bodies of the children were still missing. The pizzeria was threatened to shut down due to sanitary reasons (a foul odour coming from animatronics with blood and mucus dripping out their eyes and mouths). After finding an article  years after, states that the pizzeria finally closes at the end of the year. 

There were four main animatronics : Chica, Bonnie, Freddy and Foxy and a fifth being Golden Freddy. This animatronic ignores the laws of physics and appears and disappears as he wishes, teleporting through doors and causing strange hallucinations. In addition after killing you, instead of showing the game over screen, your game crashes! There are strange messages on the wall repeating the same phases "ITS ME". The place is indeed haunted the five spirits (maybe the five missing children) confirmed by the games creator (Scott Cawthon). 

Overall this game is about murder, missing children, foul odour, killer robots and PIZZA. But that story leaves a LOT of lingering questions: Who do you play as? How does he fit in with the game? Why does he stay for five nights knowing he is at the risk of death? What is the deal with Golden Freddy? What is the complete story behind FNAF? They are all good questions which I will answer soon.
