Anne Thomas started her day like any other, but today would be different.
Today she was to move to England. The cold, rainy place she had, for some reason, always wanted to visit. Her long, chestnut brown hair fell perfectly on her shoulders, her golden brown eyes sparkling with excitement.
Her father walked into her almost empty room and gave her a tight, warm hug. He couldn't bare to leave France, but memories he couldn't face any longer haunted him. The pain he went though made him want to leave. A new start would be the right choice for him, he thought.
"Papa, I'm all ready to leave!" Anne smiled, her voice as beautiful as chirping birds on a sunny morning.
"Good girl, we will be leaving soon! Come eat, you'll need the energy." He called, leaving the room.
Anne grabbed the last of the boxes in her room and walked into the hall, dumping her boxes down quickly. She raced into the kitchen and ate her cereal quickly.
She couldn't wait to start her new life. Especially after the one she just wants to be over with.
