My eyes fluttered open to see my purple bedroom wall.
I turned my body over and looked at my alarm clock
It was 9:52 on Saturday the 5th of October.
I sat up in my king size bed and my eyes adjusted to the light.
Suddenly my head started to throb, placed my hand on the side of my head
"Great" I mumbled to myself. All I need is a head ache on my birthday. today was my 15th birthday and I wasn't all that excited.
I hadn't planed a huge party or anything like that, it was just me and my brothers beau, Luke and jai probably going out to tea of something casual!
I didn't really like birthdays ever since mum died.
I feel like it's just a reminder that we've spent another year of our life's without mum.
Mum died when I was 9 and not 1 day has passed without me thinking about her.
I often think about what would have happend if she hadn't have gotten in the car that day
she had a car crash and died instantly.
It was the worst day of my life.
I was at school and beau rushed into my class with tear stained cheeks and a pale face and.... It was a horrible day.
I should probably get out of bed now, it was my birthday!
