Matt's POV
I woke up on Cameron's living room couch as the sun from the window hit my face. I was covered in all sweats. I just went outside to get some fresh air.
I started walking and saw Stacy leaning against her mailbox. I walked up to her.
"Good morning sunshine." I smile.
"Morning babe." She says.
Babe? I don't know why but I like the sound of that!
"Babe?" I question about the name.
"Sorry if you don't like the nickname but, too bad because I'm calling you that and I don't need your permission." She smirks.
I give a laugh and we kind of just start staring off into each others eyes after she breaks the ice asking me ," Hey do you know a good place to get ice-cream?"
"I-I uh, yeah I do." I stutter. Damn it Matthew, why are you so stupid. I mentally face-palm myself.
She giggles ," Are you gonna tell me or stare at me ?"
"Oh yeah, um Tammy Treats just right down the block to your left." I say motioning with my fingers.
She nods and mumbles a thank you and starts to walk away so, I grab her wrist gently.
"Wanna grab ice-cream?" I smirk.
She giggles, oh my god, so adorable, gaaaah. "Sure Matt, give me your phone."
I hand her my phone and I see her inputting her phone number as a contact. She gives my phone back and says ," Text me or call me when you wanna go." She winks.
She walks again once again till I run up to her ," Oh yeah I stare a lot because your beautiful, remember that okay?"
She tippy-toes on her feet and kisses me on the cheek then enters her front door entering her house.
I couldn't help but smile.
Cameron's POV
I woke up and decided to go outside to get mail from the mailbox, I exit the door and I find Matt getting a kiss on the cheek from Stacy.
My fist clenched and Jaw tightened but, I left it alone. I tried to act calm as Matt made his way over to me.
"Hey man." I say calmly taking the mail out of the mailbox.
He greets me back but, he's different today. He's more happy.
"Hey what did you and Stacy talk about?" I ask.
"She actually gave me her number and I asked if she wanted to go on a date to get ice-cream and she said yes." He says with a smile and leaves to go inside the house.
I whipped my phone out of my pocket and decided to text Stacy, I still had her number.
Me : You can say yes to Matt but not yes to me? You don't even know him!
I guess I was a bit harsh, it's just I don't want her dating other people when I want her. I'm more committed. I got interrupted from my thought when my phone chimed
Stacy : Okay, maybe I don't know Matthew much. But, that's the point I'm going on a date with him, to get to know him. I agreed to go on a date with him but, not you because he hasn't hurt me yet, and I doubt he'd ever hurt me the way you did.
She was right. I never felt so incomplete. I walk back into my house and put on an act like everything's fine like acting like my normal self.
Truth is I feel different. This time I never had a girl hit me so hard before.
Stacy's POV
Matt : Wanna leave in 2 hours (: ?
Me : Sure see you here :)
So I hopped into the shower and got out. Blow dried my hair, curled the bottom tips, and picked out my outfit.
My outfit consists of black skinny jeans, a black and white floral Janoskis, and a 84 t-shirt from Forever21.
Well I guess I was team no make-up today.
I decided to talk on the phone with my best friend back at home, Abby.
We talked for what seemed forever, we could talk about one topic and make the conversation go on and on and on again for hours. I heard my doorbell ring and I told Abby that Matt was here so I had to leave so we hung up.
I jogged to the door and revealed a Matthew looking cute as always.
"Hello Beautiful, ready to go?" He asked, I blushed.
I grabbed my side bag and nodded ," Yeah."
We walked down to the ice-cream shop and I got cotton candy while Matt got Cake batter.
I offered to pay but, Matt wouldn't let me, he gave his money before I could even give my own to the cashier first.
We talked about a lot of things. Just life you know, he was really attractive.
"Your cute." I say.
He giggles, oh my god tell me not. Matthew Espinosas' laugh is literally life.
"Well babe, your beautiful." I blush.
We both walked home, hand in hand and found yet another game of basketball.
Do these guys play basketball every single fricken day?!
I immediately let go of his hand and kiss his cheek quickly ,"Thank you for today but, I really gotta go." I say quickly then ran back into the house.
I left fast because once I saw the boys I didn't want them to see that I liked Matt or we could even consider a relationship this quick. This is only the second day I was with him and I like him already? Stop Stacy!
I just couldn't come to the realization that I was falling for someone so fast.
I don't fall for people quickly but, with Matthew? It was easy.
He makes everything easy for me and he knows how to treat me right.
Me : I'm sorry I had to leave pretty quick I just had to think about a couple things.
Matt : It's fine beautiful, I just hope your okay. I had a great time. Will there ever be a second date ;) ?
Me : Maaaaaaaybe. Thank you though, I had a fun time getting to know you.
Matt : Same here beautiful.
I don't know but, the way he just makes me feel is the greatest feeling of all. Oh god what is happening to me?!
