Harry POV

I rushed to the hospital as soon as Jess told me. The boys were right behind me. When I got there, I grabbed the closest doctor that I could find. "Can you tell me how Kristian Johnson is?" He look confused.

"She isn't my patient, but I'll be happy to find out for you. Why don't you and your friends wait right here?" He led us to the waiting room.

"We might as well sit down", Jess said.

"What if she dies before I have a chance to tell her how I feel?", I said.

"Look, mate", Louis said, "she's not going to die. Alright? I promise you. Sit down so we can wait". I sat down. I dozed off. It was a while before we heard anything. Then, a doctor walked up to me.

"How is she?"

"I'm sorry sir", she said, "we did everything we could, but she-she didn't make it. I'm so sorry". Jess started crying, and the boys gasped.

"What? Are you telling me that she's dead?" The doctor nodded.

"I'm so sorry, but her heart stopped about an hour ago".

"You promised", I whispered.

"Excuse me, sir?"

"You promised that she would make it. You promised me that she wouldn't die". I had tears in my eyes when I turned to Louis.

"I'm sorry", he said, "I really thought that she would live".

"YOU PROMISED". I took off after Louis. He didnt really have a head start, so I caught him easily. "YOU PROMISED THAT SHE WOULD MAKE IT. YOU PROMISED THAT I WOULD HAVE A CHANCE TO TELL HER".

"Stop", I heard the boys saying, "don't take it out on Louis". The tears were flowing freely now.

"SHE'S GONE NOW, AND I'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO TELL HER".

"I know", Louis said, trying to get me off him, "I'm sorry, but fighting me isn't the answer". I stopped and just laid on the floor.

"She will never know how I feel. I can never hold her again in my arms".

"She knew how you felt, Harry. She may not have acted like it, but she knew you loved her". I didn't move.

"She's gone. Forever. She's gone". I kept whispering that. Someone kept nudging me.

"Harry. Harry, GET UP". I opened my eyes. "Wake up, you were muttering stuff in your sleep. People are staring".

"What? I was asleep this whole time?"

"Uh, yeah", Louis said, "you kept yelling 'you promised' and 'she's gone'. It was quite creepy for a little bit. The doctor asked me to wake you up because some of the patients are complaining.

"So, it was all a dream?"

"What was all a dream?"

"Is Kris alive?" He laughed.

"Yeah, of course. She's alive. She has a broken arm, but she's fine. She crashed into a tree, but she was wearing her seatbelt, so she's fine. We just left her room. She's in a good mood".

It was all a dream. Kris was alive, and I still had a chance to tell her how I felt.

"Go ahead. She asked about you". He pointed me to her room, and I quickly walked there.

"Hey", I said when I saw her.

"Hey there", she said.

"How are you?"
