Jungkook waited with anticipation as he waited for a call to come through to his phone. And it did take a few minutes for that to happen. He didn't want to answer too quickly so he waited for it to ring for a couple of seconds before answering.

"Hello?" Jungkook answered, trying not to stutter.

"Uh hello?" A deep and husky voice finally replied, both of the boys taken aback by the sound of each other's voice.

"So" the elder coughed and the other laughed at the awkwardness. Jungkook could hear Taehyung shuffling around, it sounded as though he was pacing backwards and forwards which only made Jungkook laugh again.

"Calm down Tae" Jungkook said softly, plugging his headphones in so his parents couldn't hear the call between them.

"I am calm" the younger heard him finally sit down somewhere
