My hand hesitated to reach for the alarm clock whilst my eyes slowly opened,squinting with every drop of sunlight falling into my awakening soul.Separating my lips,I started to inhale the arid air circling me.The fumes of the most divine pancakes filled my lungs,making my mouth water.
Suddenly,I hear the door creaking so I immediately force myself into a sitting up figure.Mum comes in with a sour face,looking apprehensive as she passed me a letter signed with 'Lewis'.Just the thought of him appearing back into my life made my skin crawl with abhor.In case you were wondering who Lewis was....he was my father.Well at least was.
I reached for the half torn envelope trying to hide the smug expression on my face."Uhh mum..Why do you want to get with this guy?"I asked sarcastically,rolling my eyes with it.She just froze and gazed at me,her eyes turning slightly red.After a few moments she tilted her head slightly towards the floor and replied,"Honey,I know you hate him after he did all of this to you.Matt.Us.But we need to forgive him..I mean he is sorry and heartbroken sweetie."I knew that she was just soft at heart but HIM,he isn't at all remorseful!"I just can't see how--"Matt walked in,cutting me off.But before I could say anything they both roamed out of the door.
