Looming Thunder

 ((Hey guys! Here's the first chapter of Ninja Storm. It'll all make sense soon why I'm starting here and not at Prelude the Storm.))

Third Person's POV:

 As Hunter and Blake were at the race track meeting Dustin, Shane was at the skate park practicing some moves. As he was going back up the half-pike, a girl in a dark yellow helmet was watching from the top of a taller ramp. She looked through her sunglasses before smirking and tightening the laces of her black rollerblades. She hopped off the ramp and started skating down one ramp and up another, gaining speed before jumping and adding a small flip. Everyone around the park looked over at her as she did more tricks. Shane eventually stopped, seeing as everyone was watching the other skater, and went over to where everyone else was.

 "Who is she?" Someone next to him asked.

 "No clue, she skates like a pro!" Someone else replied.

 "She?" Shane muttered, confused.

 The girl skid to a stop before taking off her helmet and glasses. Shoulder length, platinum blonde hair blew out slightly as she smiled at the small crowd. Shane walked over to her while the rest of the crowd dispersed. She went over to a bench where a bag and sneakers were and sat down, untying her skates and getting a drink.

 "Hey, just wanted to say, you were killing it out there!" Shane cheered.

 "Thanks? I would have done a little more, but the ramps are a bit steep." She smiled.

 "Doesn't seem to stop you. Name's Shane." He tried to flirt.

 She rolled her eyes. "Not interested, but my name's Raelynn."

 They shook hands before she picked up her bag and threw it over her shoulder. "I have to get going, have to meet up with some friends. Later." She stated before walking to the gate and down the road.

 Later, while the rangers were testing their tsunami cycles, two morphed rangers in crimson red and navy blue were standing on a hill behind some trees. Walking up behind them was another ranger, in an Amber Yellow and girl uniform. The two looked behind them to see her walk up. Crimson was the first to speak.

 "You're late." He stated in his robotic voice.

 "Shut it." She snapped back before joining them behind the trees.

 They all continued to watch the wind rangers fight Kelzaks with the cycles from behind the trees. They saw that the yellow ranger was given a disc with the specs for the cycle on it and place it in his back pack. That's when the three darker rangers turned out from the tree and looked at the group.

 "We've seen enough, let's go." Crimson commanded.

 The three of them ninja streaked away from the forest and onto Lothor's ship, where Zurgane was being reprimanded for not getting the tsunami cycles. The three rangers were right down the hall, making their way towards the throne room. Once in the doorway, they waited at the sides until Lothor called for them. From left to right, it was Navy Blue, Crimson Red, and Amber Yellow.

 "Step forward Thunder Rangers." Lothor commanded as the three entered the room.

 "Thunder Rangers?" Zurgane questioned shocked.

 Kapri and Marah had their own conversation which Lothor growled at.

 "Our plan to trick the rangers is on schedule Lothor." Crimson stated.

 "I don't care much for schedules. You see, I'm results orientated evil genius." Lothor explained.

 "Don't rush us, we know what we're doing." Amber snapped.

 "How dare you speak to Lothor that way." Zurgane threatened. "Bow and show some respect."

 "Hey, while you're out getting that Latte, could you bring me a non-fat, one sugar cappuccino?" Navy joked, causing a chuckle from a few in the room.

 Zurgane went after the ranger until Lothor got up and released the rangers to continue their mission. Heading towards where the distraction was, they were there just in time to meet the Wind Rangers. They watched the battle with interest, finding weaknesses between them. They left once the mole creature left.

 At Storm Chasers, Dustin was hanging out with Blake and Hunter and Shane saw Raelynn about to walk in the store. He ran up and met her just before she entered. Tori came running up behind him, confused on who this girl was. Raelynn looked over at the two and smiled slightly at Shane.

 "Hey, Shane, right?" She asked.

 "Yeah, this is my friend Tori. Tor, this is Raelynn. A totally amazing skater I met at the park earlier." Shane introduced.

 Raelynn smiled and shook Tori's hand. They all walked in together and saw Blake, Hunter and Dustin hanging out together. Dustin saw them and called out. The three walked over to the others, Blake and Hunter smiling.

 "Hey guys, cool! You finally get to meet." Dustin smiled, forgetting about the extra girl next to Tori.

 They exchanged greetings before Blake looked at Raelynn.

 "I thought you were at the skate park until later Rae?" He questioned.

 "Finished earlier and thought I'd wander." She replied.

 "Seems like you know each other." Tori looked between the two.

 "Hunter and Blake are friends of mine, I time them at the track sometimes. My family is living here in Blue Bay for a while." Raelynn recited.

 They all nodded while Blake also tried flirting with Tori and Shane pulled Dustin to the side. The others talked until Shane, Tori and Dustin left. Raelynn smiled goodbyes to them before turning to her friends.

 "Oh boy, that Tori is fine." Blake smiled.

 "Yeah, but the question is why does she hang out with a goof like Dustin." Hunter added.

 "Who knows. Maybe she likes doing charity work." Blake sighed.

 "Typical boys, downgrading others to make yourselves feel better." Raelynn rolled her eyes.

 They laughed, looking at the merchandise on the walls.

 At the track, the Thunder Rangers watched from the tree line. The monster had distracted them, and they now had the information for them.

 "Have fun while you can."

 "You have no idea what's coming."

 "It's only a matter of time."

 The three Thunder Rangers smiled under their masks as they watched the Wind Rangers try and get ready to race. Knowing of the fun to come.
