I head home trailing Tao. The casual stroll down the quiet street was so peaceful; beams of pink and orange from the setting sun illuminate the sidewalks making the walk home even more pleasant.

Before I know it, I am at my apartment. On nights like this, I wish I could linger a bit longer in the sunset.

Without even looking in the Kitchen for food, I research good take out places. I know there is no food in the cabinets or in the refrigerator. I was hoping Tao would stop by a grocery store, so I could pick up some food.

I wish I would have thought about picking up more food from the convenience store this morning. But no! Like an idiot, I only bought breakfast.

After finding a place to order from, I call in my order and wait for it to appear at my door. I decide that now is a good time to call my mom.

She answers on a later ring than usual.

"Hey, baby."

I smile hearing my mom's voice; this is only my second day away from her, yet I miss it like I haven't heard it in years.

"Hi mom," I say hoping she hears my smile. Hoping she hears how happy I am both about talking to her and just in general.

"You sound happy."

"I am," I answer honestly. "Mom, I met Sehun's friends today. They all took to well and I really enjoyed myself."

"What are they like?"

"They are definitely an interesting group of people with a wide variety of personalities," I say a slight giggle in my voice.

"Details?"

"Well, they are all part of a group of street preformers called EXO. I haven't seen them perform together but I saw them all dance in a dance off; they are so good. Tao was just recruited into the group. Including Tao and Sehun, there twelve boys in EXO.

There's Suho- who seems very caring, Kai- who is passionate and talented beyond belief, Baekhyun and Luhan and Chanyeol- who are all extremely loud, excitable, and entergetic. Kyungsoo- who can't stand the other members sometimes and is very observant. Then there's Lay and Kris and Xiumin and Chen- who all seem nice but I didn't really get to talk to them," I explain as best I can. I count them on my fingers making sure I mentioned everyone.

"They all seem lovely."

"Yeah! And they can all speak Chinese! Which will most likely be useful in the future,"  I further my explanation trying to reason why they already mean so much to me.

"That's great news baby girl. Now maybe you won't forget Chinese by only speaking in Korean all the time," she teases; I laugh.

"Oh!" I exclaim realizing I left out an important detail. "I met a pair who are Independant and Dependant! They are quite a unique pair- it's Chanyeol and Kyungsoo which is funny because they are polar opposites and seem to enjoy teasing each other."

After I say this, the line goes silent. I begin to wonder if she hung up, but my phone still acts like the line is still connected.

"Do they know about you?" She asks concern evident in her voice.

"Yes, but I explained that he doesn't. I just left out the part that he can't know."

"I warned you to not tell anyone. I warned you that no one can know because once the information gets out sometimes it impossible to keep in. I warned you not to trust anyone because you can't. Honey, we are wired to spread the information we learn," she explains. I know this; I was warned. But I'm stubborn and quick to act without much thought which isn't necessarily a good combo at times.
