I had bad bones that we're acting up. Rebel friends. Weird mom. A Secret keeping dad. Troubled girlfriend, who recently broke off with me yesterday, and my car had been toed, the same day.
So as you can see a little birthday cake wasn't going to make me feel any better... or worse. Everyone was surrounding me while I was about to blow out the candles of my birthday cake... and was officially going to be Fifteen. By everyone, I meant my mom and dad. My dad was practically checking his phone every five minutes. But at least mom was breathing right on my neck.
Everyone gets a chance to make a wish. Sometimes you have to earn it. But in reality it doesn't come to you, just because you close you eyes, and blow out your candles. Acting like everything will be fine?
Boy, do I have a story to tell you, about being me. And fifteen...
