This is for medoran chronicle fans that have read up to Graevale (as we are still waiting on the next book). This is a kailex and Jordix fanfic just to let you know. This is my first book so I hope you like it, sorry if there are any spelling mistakes that is just me. So enjoy!

I woke up to the sound of the door slamming shut, "Alex! Alex! Alex!" Came the excited cry's from my best friend Dix as she had just walked through the door. I did not want to open my eyes yet, I was enjoying the warm sun on my face to much, I wish that time would just stop for a moment so I could enjoy it longer.

"Come on get up!"Dix yelled excitedly. "Noooooo" I groaned from under my pillow, "come on Alex get up you don't want to be late for the first day of school!" Dix called from the bathroom where she was brushing her teeth. "Uhhh" I grumbled as I stumbled out of bed to get ready for the day, grabbing my jeans and plain blue short-sleeve shirt as I headed to the bathroom to get changed.

When I came out Dix was sitting on her bed doing up her shoelaces with a huge grin on her face. "What's up with you today?"I ask her still half asleep. "Nothing, I am just excited for a new year!"she said way too enthusiastically, "okay" I say still not believing her as normally she would get up groaning the same as Alex. "Where did you go out this morning while I was still asleep?" I question her not giving up yet. "Out to the lake" she said while humming a tune, "did you go down there with anybody?" I asked. "Just Jordan" she said as if there was nothing wrong about it, "anyone else?" I encouraged further. "No" she replied, "did anything happen that I should know about?" "No" she said half squeaking her answer. "I'm sure there wasn't" I said disbelievingly, I would have to ask Jordan later and try to make him tell me why Dix was so up in the clouds today.

"We better get going we don't want to miss breakfast" I said as I was walking out of the room. As we were walking to the food court we met Bear and Jordan on the way, Jordan had a smile on his face too and it just got bigger when he saw Dix. I went to stand next to Bear as Jordan and Dix stood next to each other smiling.

"Do you know what happened between them this morning?" I whispered to Bear as we continued walking into the food kcourt and sat down at a free table. "I have know idea but Jordan has had a grin on his face all morning and it is sort of freaking me out" Bear whispered back. "Yeah, it has been the same with Dix, she said they went down to the lake this morning together and nothing out of the ordinary happened, but I don't believe that, we need to find out what happened" I whispered back.
