Ava had left 2 hours ago. Turns out she did leave half way through the movie because she got a text from her mum saying if she didn't get back home now she would take her phone away.
We both laughed and she packed her bag as fast as she could. We said goodbye and I promised not to watch the rest of the movie without her even though it was getting to the good part.
We had a great time. It took me a long time to get to sleep because I couldn't stop thinking about our time together but that didn't last for long. The memories came flooding back.
It was like a movie being played again and again in my mind. There was lots of screaming and shouting. It was just a never ending loop.
"STOP, STOP,...JUST STOP" I scream
My mother rushed in as I sat up in bed my hair sticking to my face and my clothes damp.
My mum has been there for me when I needed it. She was lovely and sweet when I first met her and she fell in love with me and Ash at first sight, unlike the other parents who wanted to take just Ash and not me. The people told them we was a package that if they wanted Ash they had to take me too.
"Honey it's okay, you didn't tell me you started having nightmares again" she comforted me stroking my hair and squeezing me tight
I screamed and kicked
When I calmed down she looked into my eyes and held my head in her hands
"why didn't you tell me sweetie"
I cried in her arms and she comforted me untill I fell asleep.
--------------------------------------------------------
I woke up in my mother's room. She had already woken up. Her perfume was lingering on the air. I'd always loved my mother's room.
She had a light red bed sheet which was velvety to the touch. Her beige curtains draped across the windows stopping the bright light from entering the room. Her wallpaper was plain but simple and her crisp wooden desk was imaculately tidy. Her wardrobe was at the far side of the room and hanging up on the handles was two little faires that we made when i first met her.
I stood up and ran my hands along the desk, then I went into the bathroom down the hallway. The walls were painted a baby blue that gave off a calming aura and the tiles where a bright glossy white. A big mirror that was in a white frame hung above the sink.
I splash my face with water and then wipe it with a clean face towel.
I apply some mascara and some lip gloss and step out the room and stretch my arms."mmhmm I can smell bacon" my belly rumbles.
I drag my feet down the stairs and I enter the kitchen to see Ash sitting at the table, knife and fork in hand his face beaming. I smile back at him and give him a big squeeze and pinch his cheeks.
His face crinkles and he playfully glares at me.
"Hey! I told you I don't like it when you do that! I'm not a baby anymore"
"Oooh looks like someone's grumpy today" I say in a deep voice.
Ash is my younger brother he's the only person who was ever there for me in the past. He's the one who kept me going even in my darkest days. He's the light to my sunshine. He's seven now it feels like he's grown up so fast. He has beautiful blonde hair and blue eyes just like me.
I'm glad he didn't have to suffer what I did. I'm glad he was younger when it all happened...
