You and Ignis were currently making lunch for everyone. You two were working in silence until Ignis spoke up. "How are you doing, (Y/N)? I understand that being away from your family must be hard." "It's only my sister and I, so I'm not worried, although I do fear she will burn the house down trying to cook something." You replied, laughing quietly to yourself. Ignis chuckled quietly at your statement. "She's that bad a cook?" Ignis asked. "Yeah, once I had to force her out of the kitchen so I could put a fire out that she started, and she was just making toast." "Well then, that's something you don't hear everyday." Ignis chuckled. Eventually, dinner was done, everyone ate, and went into their own rooms. You and Ignis were left cleaning up after everyone else. When you and Ignis finished cleaning up, you both decided to just talk to each other. "Ignis?" "Yes, (Y/N)?" "I overheard Prompto saying something about you liking someone, mind telling me who it is you like?" Ignis nearly choked on his tea that he was drinking after you two finished cleaning up. "W-Why do you want to know?" He asked nervously. "I'm just curious, that's all." "I'm sitting across from her." He mumbled. Despite him mumbling, you managed to catch every word of his statement. "Wait, what? You like ME!?" You asked in shock. "Yes, I do." He simply stated. "I take it you like me as well, (Y/N)?" He asked. "Y-Yeah, I do." You stated nervously. "That's good." He stated as he gently kissed your forehead.
