It was late at night and the light from the moon was almost nonexistent. Although having multiple types and enhanced vision, Kara Danvers the Supergirl , still could barely see in the darkness and shadows of the night.
She was currently hiding behind a metal crate , hoping and praying that the guards of the facility , who where currently walking over to where she was hiding , didn't spot her. She had done a good job of being stealthy except she tripped over her own cape and landed on her face , leaving a large bang for the guards to hear.
Supergirl has been preparing herself for this mission for months , YEARS!! Non-stop training for the last 5 years to prepare herself for her first mission underneath the Justice League. It may not seem like a big deal but for her it was. She needed to complete this mission and the stakes where high.
The guards started walking closer to her, she could hear their breath ( even without her "super" hearing ). The young woman mentally slapped her self as she prepared for a fight. Her eyes started to glow red as they heated up, ready for her to shoot beams at the guards any minute now. She would have done it, had she not noticed the red, green and yellow blob running her way. She squinted as she tried to look at whatever it was only to see it jump on top of the crates she had been hiding behind and attack the guards until they where unconscious.
It was then she paused to process what just happened.
