~ Just the thought of you can drive me wild
I slid the bar to the side, and Luke's face appeared on my phone. He's my brother. Well, little brother actually. I've been at his side since we're little. I'm on his side when he got his lip pierced. I actually got my eyebrow pierced, which made him mad at me.
"Hey, Luke," I said, smiling. I miss him so much. And I'm here at London, studying so much things and I'm at college. "How's it at Los Angeles?"
"Oh, it's fine. We picked up some costumes and wore it," he said, his voice getting deeper. "And... we kind of sorta went to the police department."
"What the fuck, Luke?" I yelled at the phone. "I can't even go near the police department!"
"Well, I'm sorry! I'm at our hotel now," Luke said, trying to cool off my heating mood.
"Luke Robert Hemmings, you'll be a dead meat when Mom knows about this," I said, crossing my arm over my chest.
"Ugh," he groaned. "Mom.."
"What, you're not going to cry, aren't you?" I asked, hopefully not to hear him cry. I hear quiet sobs. "Oh my God."
"I'm sorry, I couldn't help it. I gotta end this phone call," Luke said, stuttering. "Since it's 12:50 in the morning."
"Okay fine," I said. "Don't worry I won't tell Mom."
"Yeah, right."
He hang the call, and I laughed afterwards. If you ask me, of course I'll tell Mom. I'm an evil sister. Lol.
Getting ready to bed, I heard my phone ringing. I frowned, and made my way to my bedside table.
MICHAEL CLIFFORD.
It's Michael. Why is he calling at 1:00 in the morning? Probably about Luke crying on his bed, and crying his eyes out.
"Hey, Michael," I said, leaning on my side. "Why you called at 1:00?"
"Oh, nothin," he said, his voice getting deep. "Just wanting to chat with you."
"At 1:00 in the morning, Mr. Clifford?" I joked. "It's fine with me. I'm actually getting ready for bed."
"Aw, you going to sleep?" he asked, his voice getting to high pitch. "Don't go to sleep. Please..?"
"I'm not going to sleep, Clifford." I looked at my blinds and the sun was rising. Tundras are amazing. "Look, it's the tundra."
"Tundras are beautiful."
"Since when did you care about tundras?" I suddenly asked, getting my sketchbook and my graphite pen. "So, what you doin'?"
"Oh, talking to you, obviously," he said, sarcastically. I stopped sketching.
"Really? Being so sarcastic, Clifford?" I joked, grabbing the eraser and rubbing it on the mistake on my paper. "No, really. What're you doing?"
"Why do you want to know?" he asked, aggressively. I threw my graphite pencil away, and it bounced off the wall and straight on the carpeted floor. "Sheesh, you don't have to be mad."
"I'm not mad at you, Clifford. I'm mad at the fucking pencil I bought," I said, getting up and taking my pencil box full of graphites.
"Oh, so, you drawing?" he asked, and I heard some blankets hovering over the speaker. I set my phone down, and pushed the speaker button.
"Yeah," I said, shading the corners. It turned out that the thing I'm drawing was.... Michael.
"Who or what you drawing?" he questioned, and I can feel him smiling. "Wait, let me contact you in FaceTime."
He ended the call, and my FaceTime rang. I slid the green bar, and his face appeared on my screen. "Who or what you drawing?"
"You," I said simply, coloring the eyes emerald green. It was barely done.
"Really?" he asked, unbelievably. I smiled at the camera, and he actually kissed the camera.
"What the actual fuck, Clifford?" I joked. I always joked. One time I made fun of this girl named Vanessa Hunnington, and it was hilarious you should have seen her fucking face.
"I have to confess something, Hemmings.."
I gave him a What look. He took a deep breath, and opened his mouth.
"I kinda sorta kind of sort of like you," he said, shyly. "And, I liked you a lot when I saw you with Luke at day 1. I thought you were pretty and sweet. Well, actually I like girls. But I like you the most."
I paused from coloring the dyed hair of Mikey. My heart stopped from beating. No, I'm not dead. My ears are heating up, and I smirked.
"I know we still can't go out because we still don't know each other too well. I don't know the lot of you. I was wondering, when I get back there at London, you wanna go and hang around Big Ben?"
"Of course, I will," I said, smiling at him. "I also liked you the long time. When I saw you play at She Looks So Perfect music video."
"Really?"
"Yeah. I really liked your hair. Reminds me of that woman at Dalmatians 101."
"Ugh, really, Lyndon?" he said in disappointment. I smiled, hiding my laughter behind it. "C'mon, Lyndon, I know you want to laugh."
I looked at him, and laughed. "You know, seeing you laugh is the best thing I ever watched."
"Thank you," I said, shading the dyed her of Mikey. "Hey, what shirt should I draw here? Nirvana? Sex Pistols?"
"Nirvana is good," he said. I smiled, drawing the half of Nirvana smiley because it's almost the end of the portrait. "We've been talking for almost an hour. You need to sleep."
"Dude, I don't have school tomorrow. Oh, and I need to tell you something."
"What is it?"
"Remember when you said when you get home here at London and we're going to hang out around Big Ben? I-I can't."
"Why not? Are you going somewhere? Or do something around London?"
"I'm actually going to the Philippines to do some stuff I need to do. Like paint, try some food there and explore," I said, placing my coloring pencils back on my box and the graphite pencil on the separate box.
"I'm coming with you," he said, sitting up from his bed. I frowned in disbelief, him hearing that he's coming with me.
"What? Luke and I are going. Are you sure that you want to come? If you're coming, you can tell Calum and Ash."
"Oh, okay, I'll tell them in the morning. Are you going to do some stuff in the morning?" he questioned. He knows I'm an active person, and I spent most of my time doing things, and sometimes reading, sometimes playing soccer and stuff.
"Yeah, at 7:00 I'm going to the pet shop because I volunteered on grooming animals," I said, grabbing my phone. "I need to sleep. Its 2:15 already."
I yawned, and heard Michael snickered. "Good night, Lyndon."
"Good night, Mikey."
I smiled, and ended the video. I laid my phone on the side. Next to me, thinking that Luke will call.
But I drifted off.
