Jackson's POV
She pulls me along to an outside porch that is deserted. She guestures to the two chairs on the porch. I sit. "Why are you here?" she asks batting her big green eyes. Dang, she can knock me off my feet with just a eye bat. "What do you mean? your sister invited us to your 18th birthday party. I came." Does she not want me here? "I mean why are you HERE. In my safe haven that I have spent years protecting and cutting off from the world?" She has tears in her eyes but she blinks them back. I think hard. . .
