Emma's POV:
She was very pretty. I was trying not to look at her and that intriguing nose ring, but I couldn't help but to constantly look at her throughout dinner. The food was so good. I'd had some - well, a lot - of everything, and I kept seeing Mrs. Strangelove look at me, judgey, I could tell.
Annika wasn't like that though. She seemed like one of those people who doesn't cry in front of you, and when you make eye contact - even for the ninth time will keep on smiling every time you connect eyes. She's the one everyone calls for a shoulder to cry on, but never does has a shoulder for herself.
Woah, that was deep, Em.
I only partially heard dinner end, and a very nice looking girl walked in and bent down.
She had a very nice bum, I saw. I felt a shiver run through me, and I realized I was looking at a girls butt again... but I couldn't seem to look away.
Camden spat her drink out. She was staring at me. 'She saw you. She saw you she saw you she sawyoushesawyoushesawyoushesawyou-'
"Oh! What's happened?" My mum asked.
I froze. 'This is it. Everyone hates gays. You are dead.'
"Just choked." Camden's voice was only partially recognizable in choppy coughs.
I was shocked. I knew she had just defended me, but the question was why?? Does she want something? Blackmail??
I could see my vision blur, and I felt my cheeks heat up. Shoot.
I was only partially listening when Mrs. Strangelove announced that Annika will be showing me around.
I was only partially paying attention as Cam and I began walking down a hall.
I was extremely only partially rational when I grabbed Cam's arm and whirled her around and -
Camden's POV:
She kissed me.
I could distinctly taste the strawberries that we'd had for dessert on her lips, and all I knew was that I desperately wanted to grab her hips and shove her up against the wall.
She pushed away.
Her eyes were ginormous - and honestly she looked scared.
She ran.
"CE QUI LA BAISE?!?" I yelled, running after her.
Emma's POV:
Holy crap. I can't believe I did that. Oh. My. Gosh!!
The only thing I thought to do was run. What was I supposed to do. Wait for the discusted look to all appear on her face and let her tell me that I belong in Hell?!
As my feet pounded on the floor, I heard a garble of what sounded like French. 'I wonder if she knows it?' I thought. 'Now's not the time, Em!' I scolded myself. Making an abrupt left, left, then right, I quietly closed the door and hid behind a big shadow.
I couldn't see anything, due to it being so dark. I heard her come into this hallway. She was a lot closer than I had thought she had been.
Camden's POV:
She was in my hallway. It was the farthest away from Mum's room, and so my room was the first on the right. I checked the one parallel to it first.
No Emma.
I went to my room, and listened. Silence.
I opened the door.
"Please!! Don't tell my parents! I know you probably hate me, but please....please..." She collapsed from the spot she'd been hiding - behind my piano - and began sobbing.
Sighing, I closed the door and turned on the lights. Walking over, I knelt and put my arm around her.
"It's okay. I'm not exactly the straightest line, either." I said, a raised eyebrows smile on my face.
