-Remington's POV-

Alexandria had calmed down after Dan called her. I was worried for her, she didn't seem mentally okay. I shook it off and walked upstairs to get the Van Keys from my room. When I grabbed the keys, there was a neatly folded noted next to them. I grabbed it and opened it carefully and read it. I have always believed in ghosts and spirits, but now I fully knew that they existed. Dan had left me a note while he was in the coma. I was going to tell Alexandria about the note, but I decided not to because He mentioned how I felt about her, and then I read the "P.S -Don't tell Alex about this" at the bottom of the page. I carefully tucked the piece of paper into a folder and left to leave for Alexandria's Dads.

We all piled into the Can, and Emerson and Sebastion sat up in the front two seats of the car. Which left Alex and I with the huge back seat. Alex had a pillow with her, so I decided to bring a blanket and pillow so we could lay against the doors.

Because of the storm, the three and a half hour drive turned into a six hour drive. So Alex had some English card games that we could play. As soon as we got onto the highway, the rain started to pour, and the thunder and lightning danced across the sky.

"Hope you guys like storms, because we're sleeping in the barn tonight." Alex said with a smile on her face and everyone laughed "What's so funny?" she said in her tick British accent.

"You weren't joking?" Sebastian asked,while serving around a car that broke down

"No, we remodeled the barn, so I have like a mini house in the old barn. It's really cozy, it has a little kitchen and living area. And then there's a loft and a small floor matress sits up there with some beanbags and stuff." She said

"Oh, that's cool... but where is everyone going to sleep?" I asked

"Well the couch in the living area pulled out into a bed that can Fit two, and my bed fits two. So I can sleep on the couch with someone and the other two can sleep on my bed." She said smiling.

"No, you sleep on your bed." Emerson said

"No really its fi-" I cut her off

"You and someone is in your bed and the other two is on the couch bed." I said while giving her a wink and she acted all offended but then gave me a smile. Tonight I plan on telling her how I feel. Two hours into the ride, we stopped in a rest stop to eat dinner.

Alex got a small box of Chicken nuggets and fries, while Emerson got a huge burger, Sebastion got a Salad, and then it was my time to order,

"Yeah, can I have pancakes?" I asked and the lady behind the counter nodded her head and put my order in. I looked over and saw Alex staring at me, then snapped her head towards the Counter lady.

"Scratch the fucking nuggets, I would like pancakes please." She said making everyone laugh.

-Alexandria's POV-

In less than ten minutes we all had our food and we were sat at the table stuffing our faces. My dad called and I answered putting the video on.

"Hey dad!" I said with a massive grin on my face

"Hey hun! where are you guys at?" My dad said

"We're at a stop about two hours from here, but because of the storm it'll be more like three." I said while looking out the window to see darker clouse roll in.

"Okay, I have a surprise for you when you get here." He said smiling

"What is it?" I asked

"Just go to the music Shed." he said while winking and ending the call.

I rolled my eyes and Remington was staring at me. My cheeks started to heat up, and I could feel the pink going into my pale cheeks. I looked down and Emerson and Sebastion got up causing us to get up. We headed out to the car and ran through the heavy downpour.

Sebastion didn't unlock the car, so we were soaking wet, so while everyone was getting in, I was dancing in the middle of the parkinglot in the rain. Don't judge me, I'm a child in a twenty year olds body. Just then a bright flash went off and the phone that took it got the ugly smile on my face, but I didn't care, because I was having fun. I turned my back for literally a second, and then I was lifted into a pair of strong arms.

Remington spun me in a circle, and stood with me in his arms. Looking deeply in my eyes. His eyes danced around my face and I again looked down to try and hide my blush. But that didn't work because he lifted my chin up so I could look up at him. He stared into my eyes and slowly closed the gap between us, another light went off, but we were too distracted. Because the next thing that happened, really shocked me; Remington leaned down even ckoser to my face and gently kissed me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back.

Who knew thunderstorms could be so wonderful?

Hey y'all, sorry that this chapter is a bit short, but I wanted to get the rest of the car ride and Alexandria seeing her dad in the next chapter. Also, if I don't update for a little bit, don't worry, I have exams coming up, so I might not be able to upload chapters daily. In the mean time, I have a fee other Fan-Fics so go read those and show em' some love!!! Thanks for reading!!!
