Chapter 13 - Pool Day

We stayed at the pool for the rest of the day. Vincent over by the bathroom door. I walked over to him after awhile.

"Listen Vincent what's wrong?"

"He's your brother..." I sighed.

"Listen he doesn't bother me any more. He stopped bothering after I turned 11."

"11 years being treated like that..." I was about to give up.

"What are you going to do about it?" I finally said.

"I... I don't know. I just don't like what he did..."

"Its been about 6 years now and I've healed and got over it." He stood up quickly.

"Stuff like that doesn't just go away!" He stepped closer to me.

"Listen Vincent calm dow---"

"No! How long have I known you?" He stepped closer. I put my hands up slightly.

"Vincent---"

"How long?!" I didn't look at him.

"You've know me since I was 5 years old." He stepped away from me.

"6 years you suffered and the 6 more years you healed and got over it and didn't tell anyone?" I slapped him across the face causing the others to look at us. I had tears rolling down my face.

"Don't you dare try to understand me or make me feel like shit. If I want that I'll just go back home." I turned away from him and walked over to Ice and Phoenix. I don't know why I hit him or why I got so mad. Ice immediately asked me if I was alright.

"Yeah, I'm fine, just please forget about?" I wiped my eyes.

"Uh, sure if your really okay.." Ice said. I nodded. Phoenix then smirked. He grabbed my hands. I looked up suprised.

"Remeber when we were kids and you cried because you didn't get the last peace of cake?" I nodded not sure where he was going with this. His smirked turned into a smile.

"I thought it was the stupidest thing to get mad about but you know what I did to make you feel better?" I tried to remember but for some reason I was having a hard time. He then stepped away from me and nodded at ice and he nodded back. A white light started to come from Ice and a red one from Phoenix before they shipshape. Phoenix turned into a phoenix and Ice turned into a crystal wolf. He glittered in the sun light and he was completly ice but not like the ice you can see through. I love seeing there true forms. Ice walked over to me and the water below him froze as he walked on it. I giggled when I reached out and patted his hand. Phoenix came over too flying around us. I laughed slightly. His form is anyways so buetiful. They trurned back.

"Thanks guys." The smiled.

"Np. Glad we could cheer you up." Ice said. Phoenix then grabbed my hand. His hand was slightly burning. I pulled it away.

"Phoenix..." He laughed forgetting that after he's done turning into a phoenix he tends to be a lot hotter in temperature. Ice chuckled.

"Then I probably shouldn't touch you either?" I laughed too.

"Yeah..." They smiled at me. We started to splash each other. It was weird because when Ice splashed me the water was freezing and when Phoenix splashed me it was really hot. I laughed as they made jokes and told stories of our past...

I enjoyed today. It was nice to talk with Pheonix, Ice, and Alex. I miss hanging out with them more and I wish we could have hung out a little more when we were younger but instead my parents forced me to hang out with Vincent more don't know why... Chaos mostly hung out with Alex and Vincent well after I hit him he dissapeared and I haven't seen him since then. We were walking home from the pool. About a 40 minute walk well on human feet. They all wanted to use there powers to get back home but I told them no and if they wanted to they were going to have to leave me behind. They decided to walk with me. They have a hard time understanding why humans like walking so much when you could teleport or run faster then anything and cut the trip into 5 minutes.

"The sunset is beutiful today." I said.

"Yeah it is." Ice responded. I looked over at Chaos because he stopped and looked at it. Something went through his eyes but I couldn't name it and then he continued walking.

"I don't see the big deal. I can make my own sun light in clouds if I wanted to." Phoenix spoke. I sighed and slightly chuckled.

"I guess you could." I responded. Alex walked besides Chaos in the front and Ice and Phoenix walked in front of me. I stayed behind them all as they talked to each other. I wander where Vincent is... Just then a big gush of wind came from my side. I looked over and Vincent landed besides me. He retracted his wings. He was wearing a tux and had two hole in his back so his wings could come out. He had a blank stare.

"Oh, Vincent. Where have you been?" I asked. The others looked back but didn't seem to be intrusted so they kept walking. Vincent walked beside me.

"Where did you go and I'm sorry about slapping you."

"Yeah, it's fine... it didn't really hurt anyways." He ingored my questioned about where he went.

"Yeah okay fine anyways where did you go?" I kept pushing the question.

"Why do I have to answer to a pathetic human like you?!" He snapped at me. I stopped and stared at him shocked. The others stopped to and looked at us. I glared at him.

"Because I ask and don't you dare speak down on me!" He stepped forward to try and intimate me.

"Don't I dare speak down on you? Who do you think your talking to, human?!" He said the human part like he forced it out like it was disgusting to say. I stepped forward to.

"I think Im speaking to the monster right in front of me!" We stopped and looked at each other. The others also looked shocked at what I said. Why... why did I say that? He snicked.

"Yeah a monster like me and a human like you. You should learn your place." He said calmer now. His eyes glowed yellow. Chaos then stepped between us. He looked at Vincent and then me.

"Come on guys let's calm down, okay? We had a nice time at the pool today and now all of us are walking home together and watching the sun set. Let's not ruin this day of fun it's almost over." Chaos had a way of speaking that just calmed everyone down.

"Fine..." I sighed stepping away. Vincent didn't say anything but also stepped away from us.

"I'm going home..." he then brought his wings out and flew away. I sighed.

"Come on master let's go home..." Chaos said. I nodded.

"Okay..."
