September 1st, 1939

This is the date German forces advanced into Poland. No one knew it at the time, but this invasion would soon be known as the start to World War II.

September 1st, 1939 - September 2nd, 1945

This is how long World War II lasted, those dates are the true story of the second world war.

However, the story you're about to read is not the true tale of what happened. This book is an alternate ending, where certain countries were more advanced, and managed to get their hands on nuclear weapons a few years after the war ended.

In this book, World War II has already ended. America is recovering from the war, and the booming economy is better than ever. That is, until Germany gets a hold of powerful nukes

Keep in mind, this is the 1940's, and society is not accepting of homosexuals. The language used is NOT MY OPINION, clearly, as I'm writing a destiel fan fiction. However, I don't want that one person yelling at me. I promise I'm a nice and accepting person! The words towards them may get harsh at times, but I'm simply telling a tale of someone living in that time period. While I disagree with the way they are treated, I think it's necessary to truly show you the characters experiences

Some information will be true and factual, while others may be made up. The songs used will NOT fit the time period, however they will old songs, so because you might not know some of them, I will link a YouTube video to the song at the top.

While it is your decision, if you do not know the song, and I have linked it, you should listen to it. My goal is to set a tone and mood for the story through music, and hopefully it will provide a greater impact on your emotions.
