It’s a rainy day and you and Alex look for a movie to watch on Netflix. After twenty minutes of wandering through multiple movie genres, nothing seems interesting, so you both just sit there in silence under the warm blanket. Alex pulls the blanket over him so that it’s covering everything but his head. Your toes are left to the cold air. Instinctively, you huddle closer to him. He wraps his arm you and gently plays with your hair. He gently runs his fingers through it as his eyes blankly stare into space, occasionally meeting yours to smile at you. You nuzzle closer to him and return a wide smile. His body heat radiates from under the blanket and makes you sleepy. The scent of cologne mixed with a hint of a recently smoked cigarrette makes you absolutely engulfed in his presence. Being with Alex in absolute silence is pure bliss. Being intimate with him makes you feel as if the both of you were melting into one.After a while, your eyes start to get heavy. Alex notices this and gives you a sleepy grin. He pulls away for a quick moment to peck your forehead. Then he drapes you over him, as he is now laying down so that your head is resting on his chest. You listen to his heartbeat contently and he wraps his arms around your waist. He hums and you feel the vibration in his chest. “I love you.” He says as he closes his eyes. “I love you too.” Your voice cracks from drowsiness. You make yourself more comfortable for a moment and you both fall asleep to the sound of the rain.
