Your Point of View
I woke up to feel the bunk I was sleeping in was empty. I opened my eyes to see Alex, my husband was gone. I pulled on the sleeves of my long sleeve I’d worn to bed and jumped out of the bunk and onto the floor.
I walked into the front part of the bus to see Jamie and Matt sitting on the couch watching some sport on TV. In between them on a pillow was Alex and I’s 6 month daughter,Olivia sitting on a pillow pacifier in mouth. She was out cold. “Well at least my baby is here.” I walked toward the couch and picked her up being careful not to wake her up. “Where’s Alex?” Matt looked up at me. “Something about Nick.” I rolled my eyes since that response totally answered my question.
I walked into the back lounge where my suitcase laid open. I put Olivia on the couch and put pillows around her as a make shift crib. I rummaged through my suit case looking for something to wear, I ended up picking a pair of black leggings and a loose black sweater. I pulled the clothes on and started on my hair which I ended up just pulling up into a loose messy bun. I put on a red bandanna and moved onto my makeup which consisted of powder foundation, under eye concealer, mascara, and lip balm. Once I finished I pulled on a pair of brown knee high boots and walked over to Olivia who had woken up.
She stared up at me and I smiled down at her which made her giggle. I picked her up and walked back into the main lounge. Alex and Nick had walked on the bus so naturally Olivia started making weird gurbly noises trying to get Alex’s attention. Alex looked up and smiled, “Hey there love.” he walked up to me and wrapped an arm around my shoulder hugging me slightly before taking Olivia out of my arms. I smiled slightly but felt lonely. Don’t get me worry I love that Alex is being a good dad it’s just I feel like I could do with a little more lovin.
~Later~
Alex, Olivia and I were alone on the bus. Olivia was asleep in Alex’s arms and we were sitting kinda far apart from each other on the couch. I was getting annoyed. Olivia was getting hugs and kisses from Alex while all I was getting was attempts at hugs, pecks, and no fucking sex at all. Was I seriously jealous of a 6 month? I got up and walked into the bunk area without saying a word to Alex.
I heard the bus door open and close and more voices in the front lounge. The guys came back, I heard feet coming towards the bunks. I rolled over and I heard the curtain slide open. “You okay love?” Of course it was Alex. He probably just noticed I wasn’t even in the room. “Yea, i’m fine.” I felt the weight in the bunk shift. “Go away Alex.” I buried my face in my pillow not wanting to talk to Alex. “Come on talk to me.” Alex shook my shoulder. I didn’t respond, Alex groaned and pulled my shoulder towards him and he pinned me to the bunk so I had to look at him. “What’s wrong?” “You’ve been ignoring me….” I said softly but I knew he heard me. Alex was silent for a minute before he realized what I meant. “Baby it’s just been a really long time since I’ve seen Olivia.” “It’s been a long time since you’ve seen me too. I mean I changed my hair, lost the last few baby pounds-” “Baby I noticed those things.” “Than why didn’t you say anything?” “We’ve been married for 4 years. I thought I didn’t need to anymore.” I rolled my eyes. “I think you look super hot though.” Alex smiled. I smiled back, I couldn’t stay mad at that boy. “Can I get a kiss now?” Alex chuckled and pressed his lips to mine sweetly.
