Chapter Eight

Everyone was quiet the whole car ride home. Honestly, I preferred it that way. I have a lot on my plate and just to think that I was in the clearing that he, a shiver goes down my spine just thinking about him, would never find me. They might as well put a flashing neon sign on my head that says "Harper's right here!". If my scent wasn't already strong, when I evolve it will just become stronger. His pack is the number one largest in North America he has men everywhere there's no way I'm going to get by him now. I sigh and open the front door sitting my stuff on the floor and walking up the steps to my bedroom. Heidi and Dylan dropped me off after they dropped Jax off they said something about having stuff to do no doubt trying to figure out a way to keep me highly protected. Its Wednesday which means my mothers at the pack house. Every Wednesday she serves spaghetti to all of the pack warriors and security team that live there. So I'm alone tonight and that's not a good combination on top of what I just found out, my imagination is going to run wild with me tonight. I sigh, we probably will have to leave again and just keep moving never stopping. Right now it seems like that's the only way. I feel a slight pain in my chest when I think about leaving Ace behind. I open the door to my bedroom and flip on my switch

I scream "Goddess!" before realizing the big long figure laying on my bed is Ace

He looks over at me as he's stretched out on my bed with his hands behind his head and he gives me a crooked sexy smile "No it's just me Kitten sorry to disappoint."

"You almost gave me a heart attack!" I take deep breaths holding my hand over my heart

he sits up on his elbows giving me a warm smile "sorry Princess"

"What are you doing here?"

he shrugs sitting up "I wanted to see you" he smiles a dazzling smile at me

I can't help but run over to him jumping on him not realizing until now how much I've missed him and it's only been what? 10 hours? not even a full day. He laughs and flips us to where I'm laying beneath him and he's on top spreading my legs to where he can lay between them. He runs a hand over my head pulling out my ponytail and he combs his fingers through my hair

"Your hairs so thick and soft it feels like silk between my fingers" he hums "you're perfect" he kisses my nose

I sigh this is just where I want to be, in his arms. Can't I just have that for the rest of my life? nothing else. Just him. He looks down at me his violet eyes beaming and he leans in his lips softly brushing my lips teasingly before crashing against mine. His tongue runs along my bottom lip asking for entrance and I gladly give it to him moaning as I run my hands up his back and into his hair loving the taste of cinnamon explode on my tongue like fireworks. His hands run down my sides and stop at my hips his thumbs pushing up the fabric of my blouse just a little bit to where they send bolts of electricity across my skin as soon as they make contact. I pull him to me trying to get as close to him as possible having this urge to make our bodies as one. He pulls away from me and starts trailing kisses along my jaw to my neck. I move my hips up into him trying to create some friction to release this feeling between my thighs. He growls and pushes against me back

"Ace" I gasp his name sounding more like a sigh on my breath

he hit right where I needed it and I start grinding myself against him even more he starts nipping and sucking and biting along my neck more aggressively. I feel his canines extend and scrape against the curve that connects my neck and my shoulder. I'm so lost in the sensations running across my body as I feel myself coming close to something.. Ace's hands grip my hips tighter stopping me and I whimper

"Harper" he growls pulling away from my neck his eyes are glowing

"No Ace please don't stop" I beg "I need this, I need you"
