When you had first met him, he immediately reminded you of your past boyfriend. Big build, gruff and low voice, into science, had a powerful weapon and of course, one optic. Of course your ex had acquired one optic later on. He, however, had always had one. Megatron wanted you away from Knockout, because you were always reminded of your ex. You were human, but Megatron didn't care and viewed you as his daughter. So, when Knockout had found Shockwave, he assigned you to be his assistant and no longer Knockout's. You were going to miss Knockout, since his build was not like your ex. You were upset the first few days you spent with Shockwave, but you decided your ex would not want you to be like this, and so you started to converse with your new 'boss'. Well, you tried. He considered it illogical to speak with his assistant for more than a minute. But gradually every day he would talk more and more. Then, when he wanted to learn more about you, he hooked you up to the Cortical Psychic Patch in your sleep. He saw all your memories, thoughts and emotions. Many of them were with your ex. He saw how much you cared for others and for your ex when he was there. And dare he say it,

He wanted to be like your ex.

He wanted your affection, your full attention, your smile, your laugh, everything about you he wanted. But once he got out of the patch and unhooked you, he reminded himself that it was illogical and decided to discuss with Megatron about his feelings towards his "daughter" and how she should be given back to Knockout.

After Megatron's refusal, he tried to not let his affectionate feelings toward you get in the way. But he often caught himself staring at you working on something, or you caught him.

Back to you, though, you had started to get feelings when he stared at you the first time. You tried fighting them, thinking about your vow to not love anyone else after your last ex. It wasn't until you had a dream and saw him in it, that you decided that he would want you to be happy. You soon accepted the feelings.

Months had passed, and you and Shockwave are a happy couple. Or as logically happy the two of you are. One night Shockwave took you to a meadow in the middle of the forest to look at the stars. He was in his smaller bi-pedal form to avoid contact with other humans that wasn't his. While looking at the stars, you saw something bright in the corner of your eye. You looked over and saw your ex, smiling and giving you a thumbs up. Your eyes widened, before they returned to normal and you smiled back, giving him a thumbs up as well. He then waved goodbye and disappeared, and his spark flew into the sky. Shockwave saw it as a shooting star. "Make a wish, love." He said to you. You looked at the star, a single tear falling down your face. "I wish for us to be happy together for eternity." You responded. "Logical." You smiled at your boyfriends response.

Breakdown was happy for you, even if he did know that you would chose Shockwave in the well of allsparks, which means you were happy for yourself and Shockwave.
