Todoroki looked at himself in the mirror. "I still wouldn't understand these fancy clothes."

"As they say my Prince, make a good first impression."

"Right..." Todoroki was in his room, nothing has changed. It's still looked the same, it's not like he expected someone to come inside here and mess up the place it was just odd seeing his room untouched. "Why do you put up with all of this anyways" Shoto asked the maid that was lowering her head. "It's my job to forever serve this kingdom until the end of my days."

"But don't you ever feel the need to...leave?"

"I don't understand what you mean my Prince."

"never mind then."

His bedroom doors suddenly open revealing one of Endeavors knights "my Prince, your father will now like to speak with you. I'll escort you over there immediately."

"I know where his throne is, I haven't been out that long...just a couple of days so I still remember this kingdoms flaws and perfections..."

"I see, I guess your father was right, he said you'll return eventually. I didn't think it'll be this soon though."

Shoto walked out of his room without saying a single word to the knight. "You maid, clean up the Prince's room!" The maid nodded at the knight and quickly picked up the old clothes Todoroki had on during the journey which he placed on his bed. "I wanna see this place spotless!"

"As you wish"

"My Prince shall we go."

Todoroki still stood quiet. He started to walk to were his father's throne laid along with his escort.

--short time skip--

The young ruler made it to the door, his father was waiting on the other side. There was four knights standing at the doorway. Shotos escort nodded at the two who were close to the door. They opened it showing the throne of Endeavors Kingdom.
"The king will like to speak with you alone" one of the knights stated. Shoto took a deep breath and walked inside having the door closed behind him. There was no turning back now. "Shoto, it's nice to see you again."

"Shut up old man. Have you released them yet?!"

"Don't worry about them, I have already did. They're find."

"Good, then I have another req-"

"Shoto I did not want to talk to you alone just to talk about the safety of your friends. I wanted to explain to you."

"What do you mean by explain?"

Endeavor took a seat on his throne. He grabbed his crown on his head and looked at shoto who was standing a couple of feet away from him.

"You understand that my- no our kingdom is falling apart."

"That's your problem not mine."

"Shoto plea-"

Endeavor was interrupted, he coughed into his hand. Shoto was confused until he saw blood dripping from his palm.

"What the hell old man..."

"When I was battling someone for this kingdom they injected me with some time of disease. I guess you can say it's a curse. Just like any other death spells or curses, this one shorts my lifespan. I tried to find a cure but I had no luck. According to the strongest and best healer we have, they said I had months to live into the disease officially takes over my body. I believed them but...they shorten it.....Shoto.... I only have a couple of days to live. I can't rule this kingdom any longer. I'm getting weaker."
