CUPID'S ARROW (is a poison)

Little did you know my greed rose like death
You built wrath within my soul when you shoot me with threat
I wailed keens and shed bruises beneath my crust
Please break your bow for brimming me this perpetual lust

I can now conceive the froward temptation
Your shift grew me into a beast thirsty for a glint of devotion
You drilled me alone amidst their fondness
Jealousy, envy, and fury — were all what's written within my crest

My mind kept whispering to steal his heart
How stupid you were for shooting me without a counterpart?
My soul never stopped shouting to take his vessel
How ruthless were you to release an arrow just for him to repel?

Kill me, oh I'm begging
Notice my curse even if I'll kneel down pleading
Have mercy Cupid, let bliss cross my eye
You didn't get to fire him so for once, can you hear my cry?

Why was it my heart, dear Cupid?

Why did your arrow keep piercing me every little rid?

How didn't your eyes travel within my part?

How has your arrow died just when it is to reach his heart?

Leave with the hunger I carry
My veins are swelling in every touch of your might
Can you bring my soul to Psyche?
My spirit is raging for he desires someone else in my fright

Hide your bow and arrow
Since it's a darkened poison like claws and crow.
