Illusions of my Eyes

Chapter 1: Behind My Eyes

     The day was hot and sunny. I looked above me and covered my eyes as the sun shone above me blazing its flame. It was first day of school, just your typical day. I am in my last year of junior high school. I've been here for 10 years already and will still be here for another 2 years for senior high school.

     "Ka- Aneshka!" Someone called out. It snapped my attention as I turn around to see who was calling my name.

     "Aria? I thought you will be late for school." I answered her.

     "Oh please, It's first day and I would be late? Please, I've changed." She proudly answered as she step at my side and we walked together going to school.

     "You will never change." I whispered. Maybe people will change... will.

     "I wonder if there'll be hot new students in our school." Aria changed the topic as we walked silently.

     "You already have your boyfriend, why find another one?" I asked her. This is something I don't like in her, even if she has it she wants more or something new.

     "Hey, isn't that Chiaki, our school's queen?" Aria looked at curiously as she stood standing still. I adjusted my glasses to perfectly see what Aria was looking for and there I saw our school's infamous queen.

     Chiaki Enma, St. Rose Blanche Academy's renowned queen. She's the most beautiful student in our school, one of the most smartest, richest and talented student there is. It would be a perfectly great way to see our best friend if it isn't the fact that she was begging for something.

     "I know Chiaki, she wouldn't beg for just a small reason. We have to save her." Aria immediately said as she hold my hand and ran towards Chiaki.

     "If this will not do any good I will-" I decided to concentrate on running as I took off my glasses, it might be a weird reason but I don't want it to fall down and shattered into pieces like what happened last time.

     We arrived near Chiaki and a man as Aria and I hid behind a big tree. It's near enough for us to hear their conversation.

    "I  told you, we are done." The guy stated. So I am guessing this guy is the one Chiaki mentioned. It was her newly boyfriend.

    "Please I beg you. I love you very much and you told me you love me too and told me that you will marry me. Don't leave me!" Chiaki cried as she begged for unending mercy from the guy in front of her. I gulped, this is not Chiaki. She will never do this thing. Is she really that in love with that guy?

     "Chiaki, stop it!" Aria called out drawing the attention of both individuals including mine. "That idiot." I thought as I looked at the pending scene in front of me.

     "What are you doing here, Aria?" Chiaki asked as she looked at Aria in despair and sadness.

     "This... is not right. This is not you, Chiaki. You don't love him and he doesn't even like you. He will only hurt your feelings, remember that. There are still a lot of guys who are better than him and who will love you for eternity." Aria answered as she looked at Chiaki with determination.

     "I- I don't know what to do anymore." Chiaki said as she sat on the grass after kneeling for who knows how long. I pitied her, this is the first time I saw her this way. The nerve of that guy... next time you go in my way, I will smash your face in a cold floor.

     "Leave him alone. He doesn't deserve you." Aria answered strongly.

     "Right... she's the one who doesn't deserve me." It would have been perfect if that bastard didn't speak. I angrily snapped a small part of the tree as Aria flashed an angry smile.

     "Heck yeah, you're not even a pinch of salt." Aria stated as she picked up Chiaki from the floor and brought her up to sit in the tree where she hides a while ago.

     "How dare you-" The guy said as he prepared to attack Aria and as Aria prepared herself to defend. I took off fast that I didn't notice my double pig tails be caught in a tree trunk that made my two clips fall down. I stopped their pending attacks just in time.

     "Stop it Aria. This guy doesn't need your attention. He's gay for attacking a girl." I seriously said. Aria bowed down her head and withdrawing her attack.

     "What the-" The guy started but couldn't speak more of it. I stood up like nothing happened and grab my best friends.

     "Let's leave this bastard and go off in our way." I said. They nodded their head and walked beside me.
