I honestly don't know what to say about this ship; I ship it and don't ship it at the same time. When I had hardly seen any original episodes, I'd always thought Misty, out of all pokegirls, hated Ash the most. From what I saw, she was the one acting the rudest to him. My mind kinda changed when I saw the movie 'The power of one' (I'm pretty sure that was it) and I remembered that some people have a weird way of showing how they truly feel about one another. If Misty likes Ash, she's good at hiding it. Well she was, before she let slip that she wanted to marry Ash. Yup. It's true, if you haven't already heard, Misty literally said it in an episode! (Idk what the episode is sorry) There are also a few hints that Ash likes Misty, believe it or not.
Tbh from what I know now I wouldn't be surprised if Ash and Misty both liked each other but didn't realise because they were too young... (or cause Ash is too dense...) but if I'm real honest with you, I'm not 100% sure if they are right for each other. I get the feeling that if they got together they'd be the couple that would always argue with each other, and that's not really a happy relationship. But they are kinda cute together and have their romantic moments.
