Aurora's POV
"Mom! What is the meaning of this?! I'm not engage. Tell me you weren't the one behind this."
"Okay sweety calm down. It seems like your grandmother agreed for you and the heir of Zenia to be wed. To form a stronger alliance between the two kingdoms."
"Say whaaaa?"
I was speechless. Why would grandma agree to that? I don't want to get married. I'm only 14! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! This is so stressful.
"Look sweety, I'm sorry, I really have no idea that your grandmother did this. I promise I will do anything in my power to make you feel comfortable, okay?"
"Yeah okay."
I said, calming down a little.
"In the mean time, try to get along with Philip, he seems like a nice boy."
"Do I have to?"
"Just friends, sweety. Nothing else."
He does look nice, not to be deceive by his looks but he's pretty cute for a prince from another dimension. He has dark hair and pale skin, kinda like a vampire or something, nothing alien like, he just looks normal. I should probably talk to him, maybe he feels the same thing I feel in this situation. Come on Aurora he's just there by the corner holding a cup of punch, talk to him. Okay, okay here goes nothing.
"Hey there, Aurora."
I said waving then extending my hand.
"Uh what are you doing?"
He asks curiously, looking at my hands.
"Oh it's a handshake, for ya know first greetings."
This is awkward...
"Oh I'm sorry, nice to meet you."
He said holding my hand.
"Just call me Aurora."
"I'm Prince Philip of Zenia...wait you're my fiance?!
He panicked.
"Uh yeah....about that, I don't really want to get married, I mean not because of you but because I want to marry out of love, like my mom did. I'm sorry."
"No, it's okay Princess, I feel the same way...*sighs* the reason I'm doing this is for my people, the war in our kingdom, that's why we need an alliance to help us fight the rebellion."
War!? Fight!? Rebellion!??? Well... at least he feels the same.
