Chapter 18: We'll Pull Through!

Only Anthony and Isabel are able to stand.

Aegis: "(laughing) If all seven of you can't beat me, then what makes you think two stand a chance?"

Isabel: "You thinking what I'm thinking?"

Anthony: "(cracking knuckles) For once, I do!"

Other 5: "(encouraging) We believe in you two!"

Isabel jumps up into the air.

Aegis: "(laughing) That's your strategy?"

Aegis protects herself with Sapphire Gardna.

Anthony: "Bullet of Zeus!"

Anthony hits Aegis in the leg, causing her to fall.

Aegis: "(surprised) WHAT?!"

Micheal: "(in pain) Why didn't we think of something like that?!"

William: "(in pain) Because we weren't fighting as a team."

Andrea: "(in pain) We were doing our own thing."

Robert: "(in pain) And that's not how you beat someone like her."

Kyle: "(in pain) Huh?"

The four face palm.

Aegis: "(furious) You dare hit me?!"

Aegis switches to Topaz Bullet.

Anthony: "You can't win now..."

Isabel: "Because you only use others instead of helping them."

Anthony counters Aegis's bullets.

Twins: "So accept defeat!"

Isabel rushes towards Aegis as Anthony handles the bullets.

Aegis: "(in head) I can't attack both at once!"

Aegis focuses her attacks on Isabel and lands a few hits.

Isabel: "This won't save you Aegis!"

Isabel continues her attack.

Aegis: "(in head) I can't beat them alone!"

???: "She is realizing that there is so much one can do alone and the other members of Shining Star have realized this as well."

Anthony lands more bullets as he remains mobile.

Anthony: "(cocky) You're not having the time of your life right now huh?"

Aegis: "(furious) Dam you brats!"

Isabel is right in front of Aegis.

Isabel: "Continental Slash!"

Rocks begin forming in the cuts left behind after the attack.

Aegis: "(beyond furious) IT WAS IN THE PALM OF MY HAND!!!!!!!"

Aegis is sent flying back after a single punch from Isabel.

All 7: "You're finished Aegis!"

Aegis deactivates the RLA system.

Aegis: "(furious) NO!!!!!!!!!!"

Anthony: "I hope you enjoy your time in prison."

???: "I cannot allow that Del."

A series of four different colored flames flash in Aegis's eyes.

???: "Aegis and I have plenty of work to do."

A green light erupts out of a functioning computer screen.

Isabel: "What's that?!"

The light fades and Aegis is missing.

Anthony: "Huh?"

William: "She's gone..."

The twins help the other five into the elevator along with an unconscious Lykio after deactivating the RLA system.

Isabel: "(collapsing) Thank god that's over."

Anthony collapses after he gets the elevator going down.

Anthony: "(exhausted) Yeah..."

They arrive at the bottom floor to find doctors and police officers analyzing the other admins.

Officer: "Seems like you seven were successful."

Micheal: "Well half successful."

Officer: "(puzzled) what happened?"

They explain the green light and how Aegis disappeared.

Officer: "Well she'll be found eventually. We're taking you all to the hospital. And you should be completely recovered in three weeks time."

Andrea: "(relieved) Thank you."

The seven along with the admins are placed in a few different ambulances.
