I wake up and it is still just dark. It look around and see Braiden and Jackson asleep on the front seat. It was just coming sunrise, so I jump out of the car with Frozen. I look around and all I see is houses and cars. 

"Where is the fields?" I ask myself. 

"We're in the city. There are none." I hear Jamison say from a couple feet away from me. 

"I don't like it." I grumble and sit on the footpath. Jamison sits next to me and sighs. 

"Neither. When I'm 21, I'm moving back to Sturt Highway." He decides. 

"What if you meet someone out here?" I look to him and pick at the grass. he shrugs his shoulders. 

"I'm sorry. I want to be closer to you. I hated the car ride out ehre because everyone was talking crap about you." He mumbles and I feel like someone just stabbed me. 

"W-what?" I stutter. He looks up at me and his face falls. 

"I didn't want to tell you, because I hate to see you upset. They were saying that you aren't going to get through school because of your dyslexia." He sighs and continues picking the grass. My shoulders slump and I put my face in my hands. 

"I'm really sorry." He repeats. 

"Don't be. They never liked me anyway." I say and throw the grass back down. 

"They must have when you were a baby." he says confused. I shake my head and cross my legs. 

"I am the middle kid Jami."  I sigh and shake my head. 

"Let's talk about something else." I say as the sky fills with beams of sunlight. He nods and we sit in silence, thinking. 

"What year are you going into?" I say to break the silence. 

"Year eight. " He mumbles and leans back on his elbows. "Are you nervous?"

He looks away for a second and then sits up. 

"To be honest. A little." He whispers the last part.

"How long have you been up?" Kai says from behind us. I roll my eyes and look around at the houses. 

"It's crowded." I mumble and Jamison nods.

February 1st, 2011.

I rub my eyes from lack of sleep. I look around the dark room and see that everyone is asleep. I quietly push myself off the bed. We had settled in well, the boys still had to share a room. But this time, they  we intersecting rooms, which means we have a door separating two rooms. In my room, was myself. Kai and Braiden had their own rooms with intersecting ones with, Harrison, Aaron and Samuel had the other room. Noah wasn't old enough to share a room, but when he is he will share a room with Jackson and Jamison. 

"Hey." Kai whispers from the door. I jump at his sudden appearance and sigh.

"Wanna go get breakfast?" I whisper to him. He nods and we stand up and walk out. The long hallway separated us from the kitchen. When we walk in, Jackson and Jamison are already cooking breakfast. 

"Morning siblings." Jackson says cheery. Kai and looks at me and I look at him a little freaked out. 

"Ready for you first day at school?" He seems so fascinated by the word school. I shake my head and sit down to a bowl of cocoa pops. Jackson chuckles and brushes his hair out of his face with his hands.
