It was a nice warm fall day, The fields were quiet, then my wife told me there was someone on the phone for me so I grabbed it and I heard a voice say " Is this Chuck Fargos", I responded yes it is. The voice said "this is Major Charles with the military I am recruiting you specifically because of your past with military training". At first I was scared but honored at the same time, so I said i would be honored to serve for my country. The next day my wife, Kristina, was balling when I hugged her for the last time, until I would return.
