"Mommy, look what I can do!" I pressed my index fingers on my temples and focused all of your energy on the forks that were currently on the kitchen table. They levitate for a few seconds, before flying towards me and my parents. "(M/N)!" "Huh?" My eyes shot open. I took in a gulp of air before stopping them, making them slowly orbit around me. I let out my breath and laughed. My parents laughed, too. And I thought it was genuine.
Happiness,
"Daddy, look what I can do now!" I turned towards an the goat in the farm we were visiting for a school field trip that my Dad was chaperone-ing. I looked deep into it's eyes and controlled it's mind. "Raise your left hoof!" I yelled, sweat running down my cheek from the power. It did as told. All of the kids looked on in fear. He smiled awkwardly. "Okay, let's not do that anymore." I thought he was proud.
Can be broken easily by those you love and give your happiness to.
"Mommy! Daddy! Please," I yelled with all I had. A villain had been attacking a local park that me and my parents were in. Everything was destroyed and burning. People were burned alive and bleeding to death, or worse, stuck. While we were running away, my parents didn't bother to pick me up and sprinted farther. While trying to catch up to them, my momentum was too fast and I fell face first, my foot landing awkwardly and spraining it. My parent's heard my calling and my mother looked back, her eyes look like they belonged to a dead fish.
"Who would want you? Nonetheless, help you?"
A tear rolled down my cheek. "M... Mom... my..." I clenched my teeth together. 'I am going to die here.' I screamed in my head. 'And it's all my fault.'
"Freak."
"I feel so bad for his parents. I would've just abandoned him."
"You're nothing but a villain."
"What a vulgar child. He'll grow up to be a villain, for sure."
"Why hasn't anyone reported him to the police?"
"This is why we have villains running around everyday."
"You'll never be a hero."
"Psycho."
I sobbed quietly, knowing no would care or want to hear my crying. 'I should just do them a favor and go away. It's ok if I die here. It's a sign God doesn't want me anywhere near people I could hurt.' I laid there, like a lifeless figure."It is alright, now."
I heard a voice shine through all the helpless chaos.
"Why?
My eyes glistened as I looked up, seeing the first sign of hope since I got my quirk. My eyes shined with astonishment as I saw the great Hero before me.
"Because I am here."
As I breathed in more toxins, my vision slowly faded. 'No,' I struggled through the darkness. 'Stop being weak.' My eyes started to close as I trembled, barely reaching out my hand towards the Hero.
