Chapter Seven
Amber
“Are you sure you don’t want to spend the night at my house?” Chris’ whisper lingers in my ear; his hand sliding down too far for my comfort. I take it so it doesn’t slide much further. “My parents aren’t home.” He finishes, kissing my neck again.
“I told you I can’t.” I tell him, trying to act like I was enjoying his action of nibbling my neck.
“I’ll have you one day.” He whispers, his fingertips brushing where his lips where a second before. I giggle and shove him away playfully to distract him. He tickles my sides and I half scream in laughter. I hated acting like this. But I had to. It was the deal.
After we had calmed back down to a few kisses I pulled away. “I gotta go.” I tell him, standing up and grabbing my bag from the ground, throwing it over my shoulder.
“See ya, Sexy!” He calls after me. I roll my eyes as I walk off, not responding to him. I hated this.
On my walk home, I start thinking of why I’m dating the jerk in the first place.
Chris pushed me against a locker, his hands on either side of my head and his body starting to rest on mine. I desperately tried to shove my books between us but I couldn’t fast enough. He smirks a little. “Hey, Sweetheart.” He brushes hair behind my ear. I try to knock his hand away but he catches it and pins it to my side. He does the same to the other side before I could try anything. “How about I give you the privilege of dating me?” I glare at him.
“You can’t be serious.” I snarled. His grin fades a little.
“No, I am. Any girl would kill for this. Why don’t you take it?”
“Because I know you. I don’t date assholes.”
“Ouch. Words hurt.” He says mockingly, gaining his edge again.
“Grow up. You know maybe if you do and stop being a bully I could consider dating you.”
“This is about that faggot James isn’t it.” He snarls. I glare at him.
“That’s what I mean,” I said. “bully.”
“Look, I’ll make you a deal Sweetheart.” He continued. “You date me, I’ll quit bulling James.” I bit my lip, debating. I didn’t know James so these slight feelings for him make no sense but I couldn’t stand seeing him hurt. Eventually I nod.
“Fine. But you have to do more than just stop bulling him. Drake has to too.”
“Drakes a human being. I can’t control what he does.” He says. Total bs.
“Whatever. Then you have to make sure James doesn’t get hurt.”
“Fine. But you have to enjoy being my girlfriend.”
“I’ll brush up on my acting skills.” I snarled. “I’ll need some help to enjoy dating you.”
“Again with the harsh words? Look it may be an act for now, but not for long. See you later, Babe.” He smirks and before I can react, his lips crash onto mine. I force myself to kiss him back.
“You’re getting it already.” He smirked and winked at me, walking off down the hall as the bell rang. I groaned and headed towards my next class, hating myself already.
