A pair of recognizable, bright blue eyes bore into her own dark, lifeless brown eyes. Alongside his bright eyes, a bright smile and a stylish hairstyle follows. "Tch," thought Ember, "still a faker, I see." as she focuses back on her older, successful brother. He carries on with his interview as he chats bubbly and full of hope. Ember rolls her eyes.
"Check mate!" exclaimed a 10 year old Ember, cheerfully as she glanced at her older brother, Lewis with eyes full of life and intelligent, as her 14 year old brother grumbled, clearly annoyed. There was four of them; Reece, the eldest- he was the leader and the most caring, his light brown eyes looked at Ember in adoration, he is somewhere now serving in the Navy. The second eldest, AJ was the funny one, he always cracked a joke, he went into public services... a firefighter. Then there was Lewis, "the star of the show, the born to famous one." He left to pursue his dreams of being a pro footballer and never came back to his siblings, not even one text. But, Ember the youngest one, was the smart one and knew everything.
Ember smirks as she remembered how she and Lewis used to get competitive over the slightest things- chess, sports, quizzes... and she always bested him, but this is the only time he has beaten her. He made it pro and she didn't... her smirk wipes off as she zones back in on his interview. "Yes, I will be visiting my home town of Manchester in one week." Ember's eyebrows moves up in a slight response as she moves her thumb to her lips, in thought. "Lewis will be back...." she thought, as she smiles slightly for a second before going back to her maintained serious face- she didn't want to show she was happy about that. "To see family?" queries the interviewer in ambitious curiosity. "I hope so.." Lewis answers, in more of a questioning way that a statement. "Any sibl-" The TV switches abruptly, as Ember searched in hopes of doing something. Amelia wasn't in to entertain her with her absurd amount of boy problems, the TV was boring her, she didn't have work and she hated sleeping as it always led her to that dreaded dream... She sighed as she punches a text to her best friend. Instantly a text flashes back saying "yes!" leading to Ember smirking as she went to get ready.
The full moon was out as Ember steps out dressed up in a red hater top which ended at her toned mid riff and showed off her muscled arms, pairing it with ripped, blacked jeans and black, heeled combat boots- giving her a taller appearance. Her long hair was tied in a high pony which bounced as she began walking into the direction of a tall, skinny figure clad in camo loose pants and a strapless black top. "Took you long enough." teases the figure as she looked at Ember, her icy blue eyes glimmering with mischief and her fiery red hair lighting up in the glow of the moon. "Yea, yea Ashley" answered Ember, rolling her eyes, "I had no clothes." Ashley smiles bemused by Ember's reaction, she can be funny sometimes, though she would hate to be told she is. Ashley noticed Ember walking off and began jogging after her. "So.." Begins Ashley, knowing she had to ask Ember, "Did you see Lewis' interview?" A long silence follows and Ashley dares glancing at Ember, to see her thumb to her lips again.
"yes," Ember replies, her eyes glistening with an idea, "you free next Monday?"Ashley stops short, staring at her shorter friend, "yes, what have you planned?" Ashley knew that looked in her friend's eyes all to well, the glistening arrogance of intelligence... Ember has come up with some "brilliant" idea. "you'll see." muses Ember, with a small smirk thrown at her lifelong friends as she walks through a large rusting door. Ashley shakes her long ginger tresses before following Ember.
