i. EYES

■━■━■━■━■━■━■━■

For him, her eyes are the epitome of beauty.

Everytime he bores his dark ones into hers, he would always see them as though they are sparkling. Her eyes weren't big, but they weren't small either. For him, they were perfect.

Her eyes were brown, and Jeongguk would always love it when her long and thick eyelashes flutter whenever she lies. He would just stare at her eyes, and he can already see through her. Her eyes' pupils would always dilate whenever Jeongguk touches her at some sensitive areas of her body- which the man finds adorable and loving, so he'll end up laughing and cuddling with her instead, dodging the thought away of how he wanted to touch her so much.

Her eyes are attractive- they always are.

Five years ago, the day they met at the café his friend owned, he clearly remembers every single detail when a girl wearing a pastel brown oversized sweater and a black pants entered the place.

He was sipping on his favorite frappe when the bell chimes, indicating that there was a new customer.

Jeongguk didn't bother at first, he was too busy with his cellular phone playing games, but then he decided to order a piece of chocolate cake since he didn't have lunch that time. And so he looked up, and there he met her.

The way her straight hair had swung as she walked inside the shop, the way her face had shouted innocence- they were one of the reasons that made Jeongguk heart started to palpitate.

The unknown girl's face was bare, but she still managed to outlook every other girl Jeongguk knew and met.

Not noticing anything on the background, the server he had called for his chocolate cake called him.

"Sir?"

That was when he snapped out of his thoughts.

He quickly diverted his eyes on the staff who was looking a bit irritant- probably because he was already standing there for about a few minutes, but the server tried to fake a facade.

Smiling, he asks, "May I take your order, Sir?"

Jeongguk's eyes blinked repeatedly, suddenly feeling embarrassed at his current situation. However, he composed himself and shifted uncomfortably on his seat.

"One slice of chocolate cake, please." he had said.

The staff of the cafe quickly took note of his order, and soon, he disappeared in Jeongguk's sight.

Reluctant, Jeongguk roams his eyes around, looking for the girl he had seen earlier. His heart was beating fast out of nervousness because he saw no one on a comfy sweater and pants.

Unexpectedly, a girl showed up in front of him.

"Can I take this seat? Others are already taken."

The sound of her sweet voice lingered on Jeongguk's ears, and he wasn't  sure if he was dreaming or not- but the beautiful  girl whom he was staring at awhile ago was in front  of his face.

And  not only that, because she was also asking if she could sit on the same table with him.

"Hello?" she waved her hand.

Another flow of embarrassment reached Jeongguk's system- he just stared at her, again.

He mentally cursed himself and tried to wake  himself up, trying to act normal as he quietly cleared his throat.

"Y-yeah, you can." he stuttered.

He moved his belongings to the side that were put on the table, giving space to the girl.

"Thank you."

As if it was a typical teenage love story, their eyes met for seconds.

Jeongguk recalled how her eyes slightly lit up when she smiled at him for the very first time they met.

Her eyes sparkled.

He never believed such things as love at first sight because he thought it was absurd, but that day, he knew.

He knew that he was inlove.
