Veronica

I walked back home by myself of course no one bothered to hang around with me even when I asked them to. They all said no and went their separate ways. At least I had a party to look forward to later.

Jughead

"Are we actually going to this thing, Betty?" I asked her as she held my hand bluntly in the darkness.

"Why not?" She asked me her eyes were full of so much hope and innocence that for some reason forced me to look away.

"You know parties aren't really my thing," I sighed.

"Well, Archie will be there. And Veronica." She clearly thought that was going to ensure me of going.

But she had no idea that it did the opposite. My heart pounded at the very mention of both of those names. Archie. Well there's something going on with him and Betty. I just need to find out what. And Veronica. Let's put it this way-my feelings for Veronica are complicated. I just don't know she gives of this weird vibe and I just can't read her. I don't know. Maybe I should give her more of a chance.

"You're thinking."

"What?" I ask snapping out of my daze.

"You weren't listening to anything I was saying were you?" Betty laughed.

"Where are we?" I asked still half lost in my thoughts.

"My house. Wanna head inside?"

"Nah. I'm good. I'm probably gonna crash." I said beginning to yawn.

"Okay." She said kissing me softly on the lips, and as always I slip away form the outside world and all I thing think about is Betty and my true feelings for her. But recently they have got a bit cloudy and I don't know why. I guess this party will hold some shock revelations.

*Two Hours Later*

To my disappointment I was forced, literally, down towards Reggie's house. I only came because I was desperate to clear somethings between my friends. It's not like anyone will be drinking, right?

Wrong.

Betty knocked on the door and we had to wait for a solid ten minutes before someone finally picked up on the fact we were even there.

"Yo! What's up guys?" The one and only Reggie Mantle slurred as he tried to keep himself up right.

I noticed Betty glance anxiously towards me like she was second guessing her decision on coming here.

"Uh. We're here for the party?"

"Come on in then!"

Veronica

"Hey. Look who's here." Archie said placing a drink into my hands. Not a good idea.

I turned around to see Jughead and Betty shivering slightly as they came in from the cold.

"Jug. Mind if I grab Betty for a minute?" He asked averting his attention to Riverdale High's Beanie Boy.

"Sure." Jughead replied looking exactly how I felt. Confused.

"What's this about Arch?" Betty asked as Archie led her away.

I was left alone with Jughead. Again.

"Okay." I said to him, "don't try to deny it this time. Something's so up with them."

"Guess so." He said shrugging his shoulders bluntly.

I get it. We maybe be friends but that's only because we have mutual ones. Betty and Archie. Who haven't exactly been friend-like the last few days. But anyway, no need to act so cold around me, right?

"How are you and Betty anyway?" I said desperately wanting to get passed his cold, lonely side.

"We're fine."

Little did we both know, things were along way from fine.

*Author's Notes*

Thanks to everyone who's reading this crap writing. Her's the second part! Sorry it's so short. I just want to build some tension before the main parts happen. Also, please comment if you just want it to be soppy romance and relationship problems, or if you want a Riverdale type mystery. Because, trust me, there's more than a few people I'd like to kill off. *Cough, cough* Penelope.

Anyway, hope you enjoy it and comment your thoughts and please vote! xxx
